CSR Herbert River Mills - Macknade Mill

On 22 July 2002, 20 is seen here leaving Victoria Mill with a rake of full bins for Macknade Mill while on a run from the Lower Stone River area.

The introduction of Macknade Mill trains on this Victoria Mill run was only introduced in 2002 to replace the existing method whereby a Victoria Mill loco would do the run to Lower Stone and then a Macknade loco would haul the cane from Victoria to Macknade. Victoria Mill loco Brisbane was assigned to Macknade Mill for the 2002 season for this work also.
