This is a giant pile of turnips in the countryside near Kinsale. (We took a wrong turn.)
From there we headed east toward Killarney, one of the focus points for the Ring of Kerry—a 110 mile drive around the Iveragh Peninsula. This is from Waterville, on the Ring of Kerry.
Another view from the Ring of Kerry.
Lake Muckross in Killarney.
We stayed in the Redwood B&B in Killarney. We then headed north up along the western coast.
One of the more unusual sights was The Burren, an area of strange limestone rock formations. This photo was taken near dusk.
