Heat Treatment - Heat to 1750 - 2050oF and cool rapidly. To stablize, heat to 1550 - 1650oF for one hour per inch thickness and cool by air. For stress relieving, heat to 1300oF for one to two hours and air cool.
Welding - When using AISI 347 filler rod, this material displays good welding charateristics.
Heat Resistance - This material has good oxidation resistance when used intermittently up to 1600oF and continuously up to 1700oF. This material performs as well in range of 800 - 1600oF.
This is a Austenitic stainless steel.
