Hardening - This material is not hardenable by using thermal processes.

General - This is a nitrogen strengthened austenitic stainless. It has better corrosion resistance and about double the yield strength than AISI 316 stainless steel. Nitronic 50 has very good mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures. It is non magnetic.
