East Coast Mini Reunion

T.G.I.F. in New Jersey

Val & Chona's family enjoyed the hospitality of Inia when she welcomed them in her New Jersey home.  Never a dull moment with Inia, the family enjoyed New Jersey and New York in an action-filled day.  It seemed like so many things happen in one day.

Charmaine and Caitlyn felt close to her after a night.  Chona felt at home with her and they become buddies right away.  Even Daddy Luis has all the praises on how kind Inia is.  Thanks Inia for the food, accomodation, tour, groceries and souvenir items.

 Dinner with Lei

Lei (as pretty as ever) treated the Buzon family and Inia to a feast in Bamboo Grill (New Jersey).  It was a great dinner spent with recollection of some past events and chit chat on what's new.

It was fun to be together again after 22 years.

Start Spreading the News !!!

If you are in New Jersey or New York, Inia is offering free accomodation to all our batchmates.

Inia was such a good tour guide that the Buzons saw the best of New York in one day.  The bus ride from Jersey, the NYC subways, the World Trade Centre, a stroll in Wall Street and the ferry to the Liberty Island... our New York state of mind.

Here is Inia, Chona, Daddy Luis, Charmaine & Caitlyn in front of the Statue of Liberty.

It's up to you New York, New York !!!

Fancy meeting at the Grand Central Station

The highlight of the day is this mini reunion that took place in such a grand place.  Here is Val, Chona, Inia and Vic showing how happy they are to be reunited.

Vic provided all the laughters the whole night with his comical way of telling stories and jokes.

A Night with Mr. President

The kids really enjoyed Tito Chris.  We finally get a chance to see the head of the class again.

Chris is still the same gentle person.  The director of Zoni Language Institute came equipped with pictures from his trip to L.A. and Beng's visit in New York.  He is now sporting a beard, a part of his new look.

Comments from Charmaine & Caitlyn..."I like Daddy's friends, they are all nice"

"Sama-Sama Kamikaze"
(pronounced in Japanese way)

Sushi, sashimi and tempura...the Japanese dinner setup a tight-knit atmosphere to reminisce the old days and exchange some laughters.  We must be the noisiest group in the East Japanese restaurant.

It was a fun dinner followed by a short walk to the U.N. Headquarter and a half-a-mile walk to the bus stop gave us a chance to share more fun and laughter.

We were all caught between the moon and New York City.
