Travel trailer
7/19/03: 1969 Shasta travel trailer. My home away from parents home during construction. Saves 2 hours a day commuting time and will allow watching the building materials. No shower or self-contained water system, just a chemical toilet, but spacious inside since little space used for a bathroom.

The house site is just beyond the topsoil pile. The utility trailer in front of the camper is upturned to allow painting the bottom. The white spot in the window on the right is the permit allowing placing the camper on the property for only 3 months with possible 3 month extension until December 23rd. The pile by the door is stuff I set down to take the picture.

The propane fired Coleman style light works, although more useful for backup when electric power not available since it generates more heat than light. Of course the first thing on moving in was to replace the 60 watt incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents so the solar panel on the roof can provide sufficient power for lights, TV and a fan. They should also help save the replacement lamp shades from melting. Dad helped tow the trailer with his truck from nearby Dover where the sellers were kind enough to keep it thru the delay in the Viceroy delivery of the house kit.
