Front battery box The Cruising Equipment E-meter mounted easily in the old optional clock location and is the only instrumentation. It provides Volts, amps, state-of-charge (green LEDs on top), amp-hour or Kwhr consumed, charge cycles (304 for 13,800 miles as of 1/31/00) and some other stuff. (This picture was taken during the short time there was a 96V main pack for testing.) Below the E-meter are the heater controls. The original heater core was replaced with a 1500W ceramic element. It provides instant-on heat which keeps the insulated cab quite warm (and more importantly defrost).
