The rear battery box is welded from many sections of high-carbon steel recycled bed frames.
All welding and oxy-acetylene cutting and many suggestions for vehicle construction were
done by Tony Ascrizzi of
Electric Vehicle Systems in
Worcester, MA. The parking and hydraulic brake brackets had to be moved to allow space
for securing the frame to the structural cross member.
