2/27/04: Plumbing rough-in was mostly completed Monday. In New Hampshire you are allowed
to do plumbing in your own residence without a license (with a permit and inspection of course).
However, they interpret new
construction as not being a 'residence' yet so a plumber is required. It cost more and took
longer, but he did do a very nice job and was willing to run them where I wanted them.
Now I can start the heat and
vent ducts as seen in this very busy wall between the kitchen and laundry room.
From left to right: heat for corner bedroom, vent and drain for laundry room sink, heat for
hall bathroom, vent for bath, kitchen and laundry, drain for bath, radon vent. Lots of thinking
how to arrange them to fit in the ceiling.
