10/23/03: The roof in progress. Besides the rest of the rafters, there are some more complicated elements such as the gable ends and gable lookouts which are the overhangs on the sides of the house. These are more complicated, but are necessary for a finished appearance and require leaving out some rafters to allow nailing, as seen on the left hand side. The framing for the window in the left hand dormer has been omitted to allow passing the bath tub and drywall through.
