The front battery rack sits over the motor (with the ABS plastic batt box removed). Two additional batts were added to the original Solar Car design. Extra heavy front springs give a very smooth ride. The box in the foreground contains the negative contactor which comes on with the key and the e-meter shunt and homebrew prescaler.
