Needed a chassis in a hurry after my 1987 S10 EV was hit. This was available free from a club member with no engine and the front fenders and unknown driveshaft in the bed. Converted in three weeks of nights and weekends with some help from other club members. Over 20,000 miles on 23 of the 40 batts from the 1987 S10 which already had 25,000 miles on them as a parallel string. Later added 3 of the other left overs for 156 volts for better acceleration and range. Lots of busy 55mph 2-lane roads in this area.

Used for commuting 40 miles each way with a charge at work. Over 2,000 miles per month in winter. Coldest time out -10 F; EV's work fine in New Hampshire in the winter!
