7/29/03: Unfortunately the large maple had to go along with the oak sharing its root system space. The picture is a little blured since I was just barely able to snap it as it fell quickly. They did try hard to relocate the septic system in order to move the house far enough to save it, but it just wouldn't fit due to wetland clearances on the right side. Both trees had dark brown spots up the center of the trunk and main limbs. This might have been the start of rot so probably better to not have them hanging over the house anyway. Initial lot clearing was 5/26/03. Just 3 large pine trees were cut along with 2 medium size maple?
