KOOPA BEACH

Short-cuts This track has the most obvious short cuts. The most noticeable of all is the jump that leads into the cave which comes out at the waterfall and cuts quite a bit of time. A mushroom greatly increases your chance of making it into the cave off the jump but on 100cc and 150cc you can get into the cave simply by hopping (right controller button)at the top of the jump. There is also a sand bar that you casn take instead of the cave. the beggining is just before the giant stone arch that you drive under. Instead of driving under the arch you can head off to the right of it and you will see a land bridge inhabited by some crabs that you can take. There is also a long narrow ramp that you can take with a mushroom to clear a large rock formation that will give you a straighter line than going around it. Just before you get to the finish line there is a beach that you can see the tide going in and out on, if you time it right and go across when the tide is out it will be faster than going around, just watch out for the crabs.

VS/GP There is a blue spiky shell on this course that is on top of the rock formation that the skinny ramp leads to. To get the blue shell, you have to hop at the top of the ramp and you will probably roll down after you get it (you can use a mushroom to avoid rolling down the other side)but it may all be worth it. (remember not to shoot off a blue shell when you are in first place:)
