• Personality: Conservative to the very marrow of her bone. Has the world divided neatly in what is right and what is wrong. People on the right side get to see her as warm, caring and friendly, if somewhat shy. People on th wrong side don't get to see her at all. Can be stern, especially if Liselle tries to do something that "is not proper for a little lady".
• Strengths: Very loyal. Will walk to the ends of the earth for people she cares for. Down-to-earth kind of person. Her feelings about people are normally correct, and as long as she trusts them, everything is well.
• Weaknesses: : Afraid of things, people, places she doesn't know - i.e., almost everything. Doesn't adapt to changes very well. Tendency to replace knowledge with prejudices, which sometimes blurs her view of the world. (Renunciates are women who flee from their duties, and Terrans have horns and tails.) Shy and somewhat naive. Tends to get caught in struggles between her head and her heart.

• Other Information: Lella was born and raised at Seawind Manor. Her family has served the Tyalls for generations, and loyalty to this family is almost inbred in her. Lella's knowledge of the world is very limited, for she has never left Seawind Manor before the trip to Dalereuth. She was very sheltered during all her life, so she lacks some life experience. This and her shyness makes her appear younger than she is. Lella is totally devoted to Liselle Ardais. She likes Dom Brydar and respects Domna Carena. A decision between them would mean one of Lella's head-or-heart struggles.
