- Other Information: Marja is the adopted daughter of Ian and
Amalie MacAran. Found by Ian as a 6 years ago in the nearby hillside
he took the child in as a daughter. When Ian found Marja he was
horrified to discover that some person had cut out the child's tongue
leaving her as a mute. Marja appears to have no memories of before
that time at this point. Marja appears younger than she actually is.
Right now she looks about 10 years old and is actually going through
threshold sickness. Marja has an innate ability to interact with
animals and appears more comfortable with them. She is extremely shy
around other people. She can communicate by sign language. Ian
believes Marja to be a MacAran due to her ability with animals. He has
never told anyone exactly how he found the girl. He and Amalie were
never able to have children and look upon Marja as a gift. Recently
Ian has had Marja help him as a stablehand in looking after the
horses. Ian is Head-groom.
