• Politics: Arnad does not care very much for politics where as the Comyn council or the Terrans are concerned. He only wants the best for the towers and his fellow leroni. When Arnad feels that someone needs help concerning his Laran he makes no difference of the origin of the person concerned.
• Personality: Arnad is a sensitive young man, open to the need of others as you would expect from an empath. Therefore he has a caring nature and is a good listener. Else he is warm-hearted, has a strong sense of humour and is mostly in a good mood. He likes a laugh and comes across rather impishly.
• Strengths: Quick learner, his caring nature and natural friendliness
• Weaknesses: He tends to overdo it with his jokes at times and might easily hurt someone unintentionally. His other great weakness is that he is a bit naïve in his good - naturedness and people like {ab}using the likes of him for tasks they don't like doing themselves...
• Combat training: Sword training at the cadets but was never very good at it - more of a joke for others

• Appearance: Dark - blonde hair with a reddish shimmer in it; blue eyes; 1.70 m tall, slender body built

• Pets: Would love to have a horse but, due to the poverty of his mother, he never could afford one

• Other Information: He is an acknowledged nedestro of the Ridenow family, half - brother to Marcello and Arzhur - his mother is a farmers woman, whom the father met at a forest fire and had a night of pleasure with after battling the destrucion side by side the whole day. When the woman became pregnant as a result of that night she informed the father of her situation and the father acknowledged the child as his. It was agreed that the boy should be sent to his father at the age of seven so he could be reared as a Comyn but would have time with his mother, too. Arnad thus stayed always a person of two worlds - both farmboy and Comyn. Arnad was raised at Serrais but was sent to the cadets at the age of 13, where he fared lower than average but courageously plodded through his time. When he got treshold sickness at the relative late age of 15, he was about to start his last year but the seriousness of his illness made it recommendable to be cared for and trained in the nearby tower. The strength of his gift became apparent and since the boy took to his training like a fish to water, Arnad's father persuaded the commander of the cadets to spare Arnad the third year and let him stay in the tower instead to become a larnazu. The eagerness that Arnad showed and the easiness with which he sucked up his lessons let him progress relative fast, so that he has reached the rank of mechanic after only two years.
