  Javanne was born to the youngest daughter of the Alton family and the great nephew of the Hastur family. Her mother died giving birth to her. When she turned 7 years old her father and grandfather had organize a bunch of men in Thendara to help fight a fire that had started up in the Hellers. While fighting the fire her father and grandfather got caught by the flames which surround them while they were trying to get their men from harm. From the 40 or more that were there only a handful survived. It was a her grandfathers dying wish that she was to be taken to her great uncle Davan Hasturs and be foster by him. Davan felt sorry for her and considering all the bad things that had happen in her life he never really push for her to act like a proper Hastur lady. He always let her do as she pleased as long as she was happy with her decision. She start studying music and learning her acrobatic skills when she was younger from her father and Davan let her continue her training as well. When her laran started to develop she was trained at Comyn tower and learned how to control it. After that she started traveling with a few travelers and performing where they went. Unlike most Hasturs she prefers to spend her time among the citizens of Darkover instead of being stuck inside a castle or acting like the proper lady like woman that most men prefer. She would rather perform for the public either with her Acrobatic skills or her music. She will stand and support the Regent if she thinks he is right.
