  • Residence: One bedroom apartment in the Terran Enclave, a room in the Bridge Society hostel, a room at the Thendara Guildhouse (Although Keiko no longer lives in the Enclave, someone in personal decided that she should still have an apartment there.

  • Weaknesses: Cultural fish out of water, being Japanese on Darkover, she's easy to recognize, due to the fact that she's accustomed to Darkover's red sun, she's uncomfortable under the Enclave's bright white lights and has to wear tinted glasses to keep from going blind

  • Appearance: Keiko is a 5 foot 2 inch Japanese woman who resembles actress Tamlyn Tomita, pictured below. She wears normal renunciate clothes and her long knife, on her left hip, when she's not in the Terran Enclave. Within the Enclave, because her eyes are used to Darkover's red sun, Keiko wears tinted glasses to keep the bright white lights from blinding her.

  • Equipment: While on the trail, Keiko carries, in addition to her renunciate long knife, a tanto, a balisong knife, and a three-foot weighted chain. On her stag pony, she carries camping and survival gear, as well as an ice axe, walking stick and crampons. On her riding horse, she carries her mapmaking gear and a pair of sais.
