• Other Information: Marja is the adopted daughter of Ian and Amalie MacAran. Ian was guided to her by Shaya MacAran.  Ian and Amalie hid the identity of Marja and claimed her as an adopted daughter.  In reality she is the daughter of Amalie's sister Marguerida and Danilo Alton.  Marguerida's parents were involved in a plot by Alaric MacDoevid, Danilo's nedestro son, to create a powerful matrix.  Forced by Alaric's gift to co-operate they were eventually killed by Tower staff for breaking their oaths.  Marja was made a mute by cutting out her tongue, however, by that point she had bonded with the artificial starstone and the only means of severing this bond was her death. 
  
  Marja still does not remember much of this.  Recently, she was fostered by her aunt Shaya to Amalie n'ha Constanza after several adventures.  Marja's gift was awakened early due to an encounter with her older half-brother and his catalyst telepathy. 
  
  Marja appears younger than she actually is. Right now she is about 10 years old. Marja has an innate ability to interact with animals and appears more comfortable with them. She is extremely shy around other people. She can communicate by sign language. Marja also has an exceptional healing talent and has been taken on by Amalie n'ha Constanza as an apprentice mid-wife.  Marja is convinced she will become a renunciate and refuses to have anything to do with the MacAran family.  She has one twin brother, Kieran, who she is reluctantly becoming close to.  Currently she lives at Dalereuth Guildhouse.
