Mikhaella is not well liked by Samel's second wife Valera (NPC). Her great-grandfather insisted that she go to a tower - the rest of the family would have preferred her to stay and work at the Inn. When it turned out at Neskaya that she was the oldest daughter of Rhodri Castamir, Rhodri aknowledged her. Being a foundling had been a scam so that Yllana was able to raise her daughter without causing a scandal.
