I earned the AAABA Rookie pitcher of the year for the Johnstown AAABA league for the summer of 2000.

8-10-00 - I pitched against Milford Massachusetts on Wednesday and I did alright. The first 2 innings that I pitched I was very strong, striking out 4 of the 6 batters that I faced. But in the third inning I got "roughed" up a little. Milford scored 4 earned runs off of me and then I was relieved by a relief pitcher. I got the ball up in the strikezone and you can't do that against Division 1 baseball players.

7-25-00 - I pitched against Seward in my 2nd playoff appearance, and I did fairly well. I only gave up 1 earned run through 7 innings. Gallikers ended up losing the game 5-1, putting us into a 2-0 hole in the series. But with very strong pitching performances from Bob Saddler and Kane Stein Gallikers managed to come back and tie the series 2-2. Anothony Zambotti then pitched an outstanding game agianst Seward in game 5 of the series, giving Gallikers the win and a birth to the AAABA national tournament.

7-21-00 - I threw against DelWeld, and this was a big playoff game. Through the first 5 innings it was a pitchers duel between Luke Kobal of Delweld and myself. The score was 0-0. Then in the 6th we took the lead thanks to a Chuck Denazi towering blast over the center field fence. Then Gallikers put more runs on the board thanks to a Tony Stossel homerun over the right field fence. I did make a few bad pitches, but luckily I have an awesome defense behind me. Adam Fairman saved a big inning, when he made a diving catch in center field to stop a triple.

7-11-00 - I pitched against Har-Brack State this game. I threw 2 complete innnings and I did well, but I did give up 1 run. I struck out 4 out of 6 batters and Gallikers won the game 14-3.

7-5-00 - I threw against Seward VFW this game and I had a good game. I had a no-hitter going into the 5th inning, but they did score 1 run in the 5th. Going into the 6th inning Gallikers had the lead over Seward 3-1. I gave up 2 more runs in the 6th and now the score was all tied at 3-3. Gallikers scored 1 run in the bottom of the 6th. All that I had to do was get 3 outs and we won the game. Well it didn't go that way this time. I gave up a leadoff double and I got yanked. We ended up losing the game 8-4, and I got a no decision. I have to say, I was really disappointed after that loss.

6-29-00 - I pitched against Delweld, who at the time was in 4th place. I threw a good game, but I did have one bad inning. I only gave up 1 hit the first 2 innings, but in the 3rd I had some trouble. I have had excellent control the whole year, but during the 3rd I walked 3 batters in a row. Delweld scored 4 runs in the inning. I shut them down the rest of the game though and Gallikers won the game 7-4. I was lucky this time that my team gave me a lot of offensive support because that one innings could have lost the game for us.

6-20-00 -I threw against Wise Trailer Sales and I went the complete 7 innings for the victory. This wasn't an easy task either because Wise is in 2nd place and they have a very good hitting and defensive team. I only gave up 4 hits and didn't allow a runner past 2nd base the entire game. Gallikers won the game 1-0.

6-16-00 -I pitched against Har-Brack State and we won the game in 5 innnings. I pitched 5 innings of shutout baseball, giving up only 1 hit in the process.

6-10-00 - This was the continued game with Delweld when it got rained out. I pitched this game and I did very terrible. I gave up 8 runs through 3 innings and got yanked. But thanks to Bret Traino, we were able to come back and tie the game. Bret held Delweld to just 1 run thourgh 7 innings. We ended up losing the game by 1.

6-7-00 - Our game was tied all up at 0 at the end of regulation(7 innings). I went in a threw the top of the 10 tenth, and I did very well, striking out 2 of the 3 batters that I faced. I also picked up the win, giving me my 1st AAABA win of my career. We won the game 1-0.

5-31-00 - I pitched first AAABA game on Wednesday May 31st and did well, striking out 3 of 6 batters. We defeated the Grays and completed our sweep of them.

6-2 I started against Delweld and threw 2 pitches...then the game got rained out.
