well.. my name being dick puts me at a somewhat biased place in this battle of agility and strength.. but i will attempt to call this one fair.
ok.. first... pros and cons
blackhawk-- pros: worked with batman, is an acrobatic sunnovabitch and is badass. cons: is named dick, got into many binds from which batman had to save his ass.
captain america --pros: is a super soldier, kicked the red skulls ass, has a pimpass shield, and is also a badass. cons: umm.. are there any?
so... captain america i think wins.. come on he is faster, stronger, and fights for peace, justice and the spread of democracy

alright......this would be a cool fight to watch. after much fistacuffs, captain america would be left standing. why? super-soldier serum. the increased agility, strength, and of course his shield gives him enough to beat the once boy wonder. nightwing would give it the old college try, but would just fall short of putting the ass-smack on cap'n.

i thought you were talking about three people v. captain america...oh well.

captain america would definitely win because for one reason, dick was just a sidekick, and captain america wasn't one, so that means he had more skills than what's his face... and had no need for a sidekick.

I think some of you are underestimating Nightwing's abilities. first, he was with Batman almost from the begining,and over many years learned everything Bruce had to teach. This puts him only a few steps behind Batman, since he isn't quite as driven or well conditioned. Also, he's younger and more energetic than Cap,and I feel could probably suprise the geezer with some creative tricks and ploys. Last but not least, Nightwing has most of the same equipment that he and Bruce perfected. I think it'd be an incredibly close fight, and if Grayson caught the right circumstances he could win it.

Alrighty, Matt. Here's my say....

I agree with you in that some of these other folks are underestimating Nightwing a bit. Personally, I think if you take away all the gear and the super-soldier serum, Nightwing wins, and fairly handily to boot; he's got Batman's skills--almost--and he's younger and faster. Cap is a great fighter, but take away his shield and his serum and that's all he is. Now, give them both back their gear and what do we have? Slightly-sub-Batman with all his toys versus a really great fighter with an indestructible shield. That's a much better fight, but Nightwing still pulls it out in the end. Now, give the Cap back his serum. This is what wins the match. Now he's a super strong, super fast, super agile really great fighter with an indestructible shield. Even if Nightwing is the better fighter overall, Cap wins. Though not without being schooled a bit by the former Boy Wonder; nobody fights a guy who's only just shy of being Batman without taking a few solid hits.

when in the hell did i say that captain america would slaughter nightwing? i said a close fight with cap'n winning in the end. so go back and read what we said.

if you want to get quotey, i never said you said "slaughter", i just think dick's got a better chance than you guys think. although, sorry ben, it's kind of silly to make the comparison of "if cap didn't have his super serum." if he didn't have super serum, he'd be an asmatic weakling like bradley. it's like saying "oh, the mole man could beat superman if he wasn't from krypton." it's sort of a moot point.

well as i do remember that even with batman's tricks and toys bane kicked the befucking jesus out of him (ok so he was done fighting a bunch of other guys too but hey) and what was bane? oh yeah.. a SUPER SOLDIER... now capn is too much of a badass guys.. and youre discounting the properties of his shield: 1. he can block anything that dick throws at him and 2. he can throw it like a mofo. now i see that in this throwing business that nightwing could jump out of the way, but i think that the captain with his super soldier endurance and strength would just end up wailing on him in the end. especially if he was the captain america from this issue of "What if..." i have where Frank Castle becomes captain america its cool as shit.

don't even bring up the "bane beat batman" point. he hadn't just been fighting a few guys, he had RECAPTURED THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF ARKHAM ASYLUM!

Not to mention the fact that he had just come off personally putting the smack on both the Joker and the Scarecrow, as well as Bane's three little mokneys he had specifically set up to weaken him. And he hadn't slept for like a month. Or eaten. Or taken a piss. Or done anything but kick some major hiney. Repeatedly. Plus you can add to that the fact that even after his back was broken he came back and took his place back from Azrael--forcibly. So, you tell me Dick, who's the super soldier?

well.....first, i'd like to get meticulous with matt. batman hadn't recaptured all of arkham. most of the "big dogs" were still at large after bane broke him. he took down some minor criminals(minor in comparison to the joker, not real criminals) now, i'd like to point out the FACT that even though i'm asthmatic, i could whip the stinky piss out of all of you guys. if you'd like to test that, be my guest, but i'd first refer you to the population of skanky, punk rocker, teenage boys in jamestown. i just wanted to point that out. so now, i'm off

men always get off track. this grudge match is about captain america and Robin, not matt, bradley, and asthma.

but anywayz, it would be a tie between the two if you think about it. because if the match only goes to unconsciousness then anyone can win. i'll bet that they both would win at the same time and knock each other unconscious at the same time. they'll fall down the stairs or something.

Okay, I'm not up to date on my Captain America intellect, so I don't know what he can and can't do. From what I've read he's a strong guy that could beat a lot of peoples asses. I do however know a bit about Dick. 1: he's hostile, you piss him off, you better watch out. 2: he's batmans sidekick and I myself am partial to Batman. He just kicks ass. 3: Dick is younger.. not a big advantage considering it doesn't matter how old you are, just how you perform. Dick has the potential to have a great fight, but I'm not sure on who would win. Like I said, my knowledge of the captain is very low, so I have no idea how much damage he can do. You're the superhero guy, Matt. So, based on what I know, and going by the movie Batman and Robin, Dick would win just because I think he is fine as hell. Yep, that's what I said, I'm basing the whole match on the sexiness of "Dick". Anyways, I'm tired, and in my personal opinion, this grudge match sucked...sorry matt..
