| I think this would be an amazing fight to witness. You've got two nigh-invincible guys, standing off to beat the bejeezus out of each other. Not necessarily to the death, but that might be what it takes to get a winner. Oh, and this is disregarding that whole "Thor's an immortal god" thing. |

| ok in my opinion i think THE MIGHT THOR would win. first off he is no less than god! and his,if i may say, "hammer" would do some total destruction. i can't quite predict the whole outcome of the fight(if Superman dies or not)though becuz i am not Miss Cleo. well there is my opinion and i am sticking to it. big D i agree with dave on this one. even without the immortality, Thor wins. my reason for saying this is Superman has a weakness.....kryptonite. does Thor even have a weakness? anyways, Thor gets some kryptonite after trying eveything against the man o' steel. this totally screws Superman, and Thor batters his ass with mjolnir. no one dies because that ain't Thor's bag. he leaves with Superman beaten and humbled. knowing that he is one tough motha', Thor goes to celebrate with his papa, Odin. meade and winches for all the warriors in Valhalla!!!!!! i don't know anything about Thor...but i'm sure he'd win anywayz...bradley's right...everyone knows that kryptonite is superman's weakness and i bet Thor wouldn't even try to defeat superman without the kryptonite first...he would just use that before anything else and make the fight quick and overwith in time for supper. Hey guys, Well... I say Superman... how you like that? Superman does have the kryptonite weakness, and even a weakness to magic (which Thor's powers are) BUT, first of all, Supes has made a career of overcoming the kryptonite thing, and if no one else can take him down with it, Thor can't either... it ain't like Thor is smarter than Lex Luthor, or richer. Maybe because of the magic thing, the fight is equal, but I give it to Superman, because I think he could beat him to the punch. Plain and simple, Superman has a longer career, more experience, and I just think he'd win. Later, Travis eeehh, i don't know about that one, travis. thor, he's pretty damn strong. controls the weather. has a big ol hammer. can warp through time and space. gots some wings on his head. i think he's got a strong chance. no, scratch that, better than a strong chance. he'll bludgeon the living crap out of the kryptonite, but probably wouldn't kill him. that's not his schtick. as for the whole experience thing, i don't think so. true, supes' comic has been in publication longer, but the fact is that thor is a god, and has been around almost forever. he's got a few years practice on blue boy. matt, i hate to be a stickler for specifics, but i believe Superman would be a kryptonian and not a kryptonite. ......shut up. |
