| My friends, I come before you today with a confession to make. I have betrayed you all, and am not sure how you can ever trust me again. The rumors are indeed true. On Monday, January 8, 2001, I, Matt, watched and enjoyed an entire episode of mtv's "vj for a day." Unfortunately, that is not all. Yes, while watching "vj for a day" I logged onto mtv.com and voted for my favorite vj not once, not twice, but six times. In retrospect, I find it difficult to explain my actions. The only excuse I can give in voting for Courtney is that she really, really reminded me of Britney Spears. On reflection, I now know what I did was wrong, and that Ray Munns is a buttmonkey, and I can do nothing but ask most sincerely for your forgiveness. I hope that with time, faith, and maybe some chocolate pudding, we will make it through this. Thank you, and God bless. |
