I've been interested in Fish since I was little, I still remember our first family fish.  They were 3 Angelfish and 3 Zebra Danio's which we kept in an old 10 gallon tank.  My parents allowed me to move that tank into my room a few years later when the fish were gone and the tank was in storage.  I tried my best to keep my fish alive, but usually they would last a few months then they would die.  I know now that I was destroying their habitat every time that I cleaned the tank by dumping all the water out and replacing it with new water.  Well, the years went by and I didn't have time to mess with fish anymore, I was spending all my time with my friends, school, sports, anything that involved music, and FFA.  Then last spring I decided to buy my own tank, and after 2 hours of searching with my roommate Joel we found the perfect tank at a local Petco.  I got some blue rock and a few plants too.  I started out with 5 pristella Tetras and the tank grew from there.  My tank has evolved into a large community now, I have around 19 fish which include the original pristella tetras, 2 dwarf gouramis, a blue gourami, 2 black skirt tetras, a pleco, 2 neon black tetras, a swordtail, a bala shark, and 4 colorful guppies.  They are all very happy and get along most of the time because the swordtail is slightly aggressive.
