Errata in Practical Development Environments
Submit an error. Please include the publication date, page number, a description of the error, and how serious you feel it is.
This is for the first edition, with a publication date of September 2005. The information on this page should eventually appear on the book's homepage at O'Reilly.
The standard O'Reilly markup for errata is:
[page-number]: serious technical mistake

- [83] Figure 5-1. The line from
Interrupted to Up-to-date should have arrows on both ends. The line from Clean to Up-to-date should have arrows on both ends.
- {117} Paragraph 2. Replace "Lawrence Livermore" with "Los Alamos".
- (268) Paragraph 3. Replace "if you are paid to write code, then you have to able to commit that code." with "if you are paid to write code, then you have to be able to commit that code." (Thanks, Mum!)
- (287) The entry "accessibility, bug tracking" refers to p.154. The whole entry should be replaced with "accessibility, testing" and refer to p.148.
- (289) A new index entry for "color blindness" referring to p.148 should be added.
