BORN MAY 5TH, 1963, in Penetanguishene, ontario, canada, kevin james labrie
                  quickly learned his musical talents and by the age of 3 was already creating a
                  rucous for his family by constantly signing around the house. by the age of 5 he
                  had everything he needed to become famous including a drum set and more
                  importantly, his voice!

                  by age 10 he was already signing and performing in a quartet which included his
                  father, brother, and uncle. but crooning and signing in a barber shop quartet just
                  wasn't his style, james loved rock and fallowed this love by signing in bands
                  around his area. also to help farther improve his chances of total success he moved
                  to toronto, canada.

                  at 21 he hooked up with rosemary patricia burns a renowned vocalist to help
                  improve his skills, a women whom he still takes leasons from today. he joined with
                  a few small bands but none ever really took off. finally, james hurt that a new
                  york based band called dream theater needed a vocalist, the old guy sucked. of
                  course he got the part and dream theater began to take shape like what they are
                  today.
