These official pictures were taken of Maureen at the Newington studio of Peter Kaye Photography in Liverpool in 1964. The photographer remembers that they were taken for "a fan magazine. At that time there had been a number of 'knocking articles' and Maureen wanted the photographs to be taken by a photographer she could trust not to release them to all and sundry."
