4 Aug - Florence Cox gives birth to her and her husband Joseph's first child, Mary, in Liverpool.

1964

15 Jan - Beatles drummer Ringo Starr flies to Paris alone to join the other Beatles performing a series of concerts in France after refusing to leave his girlfriend Maureen til the last minute.
2 Mar - Maureen's boyfriend begins filming "A Hard Days Night" and she is there with him most of the time. [O]
9 Mar - Maureen and Richard stay out dancing in clubs til the following morning, leaving Richard exhausted while filming his solo scenes that day.
2 May - travels from Luton airport to Paris, then to Lisbon under the alias of "Miss Cockroft". Spends the night at The Ritz.
3 May - flies to Puerto Rico then goes on to the Virgin Islands. At St Thomas she, her boyfriend, Richard Starkey, his band mate Paul McCartney and Paul's girlfriend Jane Asher hire a yacht called The Happy Days, [O] complete with crew - Captain Bolyard and his wife Peggy.
27 May - returns to England
3 Jun - boyfriend Richard Starkey collapses and is taken to University College Hospital. She flies down with his mother to be at his side, staying at his flat with his mother.
11 Jun - Richard is discharged from hospital and goes back to living at his flat with Maureen.
14 Jun - Richard spends the evening before flying to Australia for a concert tour out at dinner with Maureen and the doctor who took care of him.

2 Jan - fly home to Liverpool to visit family with husband Richard, sons Zak and Jason, and her poodle Tiger. [O]
19 Feb - travels to Rishikesh, India to study Transcendental Meditation with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. [O] On arrival in Delhi after travelling through five time zones, Maureen and her travelling companions - husband Richard and friends Paul and Jane - are surrounded by the Press and have to stop to talk to them. Husband Richard is getting pains from the required immunisation injections he had to take to visit India and so the group sets off to find a hospital, get completely lost whilst being followed by a convoy of Press cars who eventually show them the way to the hospital.
1 Mar - return to England from India after missing her children and not being able to cope with the insects she has a phobia of, and her husband is unable to cope with the food.
28 Mar - attends a private screening of "Around The World In 80 Days" at the Coliseum Cinerama in St. Martin's Lane. Then goes on to a supper party at the Dorchester Hotel hosted by Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. [O]
15 May - flies to Cannes with husband Richard to meet Pattie and George Harrison. [O]
17 May - attends premiere of Wonderwall at the Cannes Film Festival.
19 May - return from Cannes with husband Richard and friends Pattie and George.
7 Jun - flies from Heathrow Airport to LA on a chartered flight with husband Richard, Pattie and George Harrison, and Mal Evans. Get a private jet to Monteray and book in at the Del Monte Lodge.
8 Jun - Visit Joan Baez and her husband at their new home in the hills with Pattie, George, Richard and Mal.
9 Jun - Walk on the shore, play golf at the lodge, riding around the course in three wheel carts, Pattie and Maureen hitting 20 yard hops while husband Richard gets quite good shots.
10 Jun - Play golf with husband Richard and Pattie Harrison while Pattie's husband and Mal Evans are away filming with Ravi Shankar.
11 Jun - Go with the others to the film location to see Ravi.
12 Jun - Travel South to LA and stay at Van Halen's house in the hills of Brentwood near Bel Air. Visit Peter Tork's house where he is spending time with Dave Crosby from The Byrds and Peter Asher.
16 Jun - cancel the flight home because Pan Am have decided not to show an inflight film. Get a plane to New York by TWA and watch "The Scalp Hunters" starring Burt Lancaster. Maureen is delighted by the change of plans as this is her first sight seeing trip to America and now she gets to see New York as well as California. Book in at the Drake Hotel then go to see Jimi Hendrix with Mal and hsband Richard. Jimi is also staying at the Drake so they all go back there with Eric Clapton.
17 Jun - Visit a big New York toy store to buy presents for her children with Mal Evans who is doing the same.
18 Jun - Flies home [O] with George and Pattie Harrison, Mal Evans, husband Richard, and Eric Clapton who has changed flights to join them.
17 Jul - attends the premiere of Yellow Submarine at London Pavillion [O] along with husband Richard, George and Pattie Harrison, Pul McCartney, John Lennon, and John's new girlfriend Yoko Ono. Also attended the post-premiere party held in the Yellow Submarine discotheque at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
20 Aug - Husband Richard quits The Beatles during a recording session for The White Album. Maureen takes him and their children on a Mediterranean holiday where he can calm down and recover during a fortnight on the yacht of friend Peter Sellers.
30 Aug - attends the wedding of Neil Aspinall and Suzy Ornstein at Chelsea Register Office. [O]
Autumn - husband Richard buys the family a new house - Peter Sellers' estate 'Brookfield' in Elstead, Surrey, which is two hours out of London. It is a 12th century, 18-room stone house on 14 acres and had a pond with swans.
3 Sep - husband Richard re-joins The Beatles.
14 Oct - holiday to Sardinia with husband Richard.
19 Nov - the family moves into their new home 'Brookfield' near Elstead.

1969


30 Jan - attends a rooftop concert by husband Richard and his band who are recording a documentary film called Let It Be. The band play for 42 minutes, performing Get Back, Don't Let Me Down, I've Got A Feeling, One After Nine O Nine, Dig A Pony, God Save The Queen, I've Got A Feeling, Don't Let Me Down and Get Back before the police arrive to stop the concert due to complaints from nearby offices about the noise.
4 May - attends a party thrown by her husband and friend Peter Sellers at Les Ambassadors Club in LOndon to celebrate the completion of filming of their film The Magic Christian. Other friends attending the party include John and Yoko, Paul and Linda, Richard Harris, Sean Connery, Roger Moore, George Peppard, Christopher Lee, Stanley Baker and Spike Milligan.
10 May - attends the premiere of 'Oh, What A Lovely War' at the Pavillion Theatre with husband Richard.
16 May - boards the QEII with her husband and two sons to set sail for New York. [O] The trip is paid for by Commonwealth United, the backers of husband Richard's film The Magic Christian as a reward for bringing the film in on time and under budget. They travel along with co-star Peter Sellers and his wife, and producer Denis O'Dell and his wife.
22 May - arrives in New York where filming of The Magic Christian was meant to be completed, [O] but a further trip to the Bahamas for two weeks was then taken to finish the film.
6 Jun - returns to London and then visits family in Liverpool.
27 Jun - flies to Nice for a holiday on the French Riviera with her husband. [O]
Jul - visits Abbey Road where husband Richard is recording with The Beatles.
3 July - hosts a launch party for the Plastic Ono Band's Give Peace A Chance with husband Richard at Chelsea Town Hall in London in the place of John and Yoko.
31 Aug & 1 Sep - watches a Bob Dylan concert with The Beatles and respective girlfriends at the Isle Of Wight Pop Festival. [O]
13 Oct - attend the opening night of Mary Hopkin's cabaret season at the Savoy Hotel, London with husband Richard and friends Paul and Linda.
15 Oct - flies to LA with husband Richard.

5 Dec - the family move back into London from 'Brookfield' for various reasons including the fact the Maureen found it too far from the grocery shops. Their new home on Compton Avenue in Hampstead, North London is called Highgate and they live there until 1973.
10 Dec - attends the premiere of The Magic Christian at the Odeon Theatre, Kensington, with husband Richard, John Lennon and John's new wife Yoko. Princess Margaret was the guest of honour and proceeds went to the National Society for the Prevntion of Cruelty to Children.
31 Dec - holds a New Year party at her home Highgate in London inviting guests such as George, Pattie, Paul and Linda.

26 Jan - flies to to Los Angeles with husband Richard.
27 Jan - on the set of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In with Carol Channing, Tiny Tim and his wife Miss Vicki. [O]
29 Jan - attends the post-premiere party of The Magic Christian at the Climax Club in Hollywood. [O] The Magic Christian is given it's US premiere in Los Angeles.
30 Jan - flies to Las Vegas to see Elvis in concert.

8 Feb - flies to Zurich in Swizerland with husband Richard for a skiing holiday in the Alps [O] after Richard has completed work on the film 200 Motels. The holiday is cut short when Richard is requested to deal with Paul McCartney's High Court action to dissolve The Beatles.
Apr - arrives late with husband Richard at London Airport for a flight to Sweden. Unable to board their flight by the airline, they are photographed passing time in the VIP Lounge while waiting for another flight. [O]
springtime -attends a leaving party for friend Peter Sellers (who is leaving to become a tax exile in Ireland) with husband Richard. [O]
12 May - attends the wedding of Bianca and Mick Jagger in St. Tropez along with husband Richard, travelling on a specially chartered flight from Gatwick Airport. [O] Things become uncomfortable for the Starkeys when the McCartneys also turn up. After the wedding, Maureen and her husband remain in the South of France to attend the Cannes Film Festival and stay aboard the luxury yacht SS Marala where they are joined by friends Cilla Black and Pattie and George Harrison.
9 Oct - visits New York with husband Richard for the 31st Birthday of friend John Lennon. [O]

27 Jan - flies to Budapest, Hungary, from London Airport with husband Richard to attend the 40th birthday party of friend Elizabeth Taylor. [O] The party lasts 2 days and costs over a million dollars.

26 Mar - husband Richard shames their marriage by attending the London premiere of Tommy at Leicester Square with his new girlfriend Nancy Andrews. Maureen sees the pictures of them together in the newspapers.
17 Jul - Maureen reluctantly divorces her husband Richard

1978

Aug - ex-husband Richard takes Maureen and their children to a party [O] held by Playboy Clubs International President, Victor Lownes, at his Herfordshire estate, "Stocks". The party is concidered the event of the season and is held in honor of 300 Playboy Bunnies past and present. Richard, along with family friend Keith Moon, was invited as one of England's most eligible bachelors. Guests enjoyed hot-air balloon rides.

1980

Dec - friend Cynthia stays at Maureens for a few days and is woken up one night by Maureen screaming. Maureen had recieved a phone call from her ex-husband telling her that their friend John, Cynthia's ex-husband, had died. Maureen drove Cynthia back home to tell her son Julian the bad news.

1981

27 Apr - daughter Lee is a bridesmaid at the wedding of her daddy, Maureen's ex-husband Richard, and actress Barbara Bach.

1983

21 Sep - Attends a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and then goes to the private after-show party at London's Hard Rock Cafe [O] along with her ex-husband, her children and friends.

1984

12 Mar - Attends the opening of New York City's Hard Rock Cafe with boyfriend Isaac Tigrett who founded the chain, and her children Jason and Lee. [O]
Oct - Photographed with her boyfriend visiting the New York Hard Rock Cafe again. [O]

1985

19 Jan - son Zak marries his girlfriend of 3 years, Sarah Menedikes, in a private, secret ceremony. Neither Maureen nor Zak's father Richard are aware of the event.
20 Jan - son Zak announces to his parents that he is married.
22 Jan - ex-husband Richard throws a party for Zak and Sarah.
7 Sep - Son Zak and his wife Sarah have a baby girl, Maureen's first grandchild, Tatia Jayne.

1987

Gives birth to a daughter by Isaac Tigrett, Augusta King. Her godfather is Isaac's friend Dan Akyroyd
Nov - Maureen takes her divorce settlement solicitors to the High Court seeking damages. [O] She looses the case but still manages to smile for the press waiting outside. [O]

1988

attends the opening of friend Cynthia's restaraunt "Lennon's" with daughter Lee. [O]

1989

attends concerts by her ex-husband Richard Starkey and his All Starr Band as well as a concert by Julian Lennon
27 May - marries Isaac Tigrett in Monte Carlo.

1990

daughter Lee opens a boutique in LA called Planet Alice. Maureen and her ex-husband, Lee's Dad, both help with the decorating, and after the opening Maureen occasionally minds the cash register for her daughter. [O]

1992

6 Apr - Attends a George Harrison Concert where son Zak Starkey is on drums for Joe Walsh's opening act. Also in attendance are Julian Lennon, Lee and Jason Starkey, first husband Richard, Dhani Harrison and Mary McCartney.

1994

Apr - Maureen attends the opening of the Los Angeles House of Blues, owned by her husband Isaac. She collapses and is thought by doctors at the time to be anaemic. Two weeks later she is diagnosed as having mylodysplia, a variety of leukemia.
Oct - moved to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA where she recieves bone-marrow, white blood cells and blood platelets transplanted from her eldest son Zak.
30 Dec - Maureen leaves this world at the age of 47 for a better place, with all her children, her mother, and both her husband and ex-husband at her bedside.
