Rules..
1. entry fee-Rs. 50 per team.
2. one team of not more than 10 persons per college.
3.each team will be given 30 min.(curtain to curtain )during which they are required to perform the following-
(a)atlest a solo indian music category.
(b)atleast one solo western music category:no limit on the number of the instrumrnts used.
however in the above mentoioned categories entrywill be judged on the singing ability of the performer only.
(c)rest of compositons /songs can be of team's choice in either category(indian/western)comprising of
(i)indian solo -vocal
(ii)western solo vocal
(iii)band- vocalists not less than two.
(iv)instrumental-no limit on the number of instruments.
minimum 4 instruments.keyboard should be with no programmed beats or special effects.
(d)the performance of the team shall be assesd on overall basiswith special emphasis on
(i)stage management.
(ii)choice of instrument.
(iii)choice of songs.
(iv)coordinatin between artists during the performance.
(v)audience response.
no emphasis on compeering ,introduction.
3. please don't hire professionals.
4.all performers should carry valid i cards.
5.separate venue for tuning guitars provided.
6.best singer will not necessarily be decided on the solo number only.
