"GO MENTAL!"

The bolivarian revolution for the non-spanish speakers

The Bolivarian revolution, a movement started in the middle 90s, is the conglomeration of the various voices that, with such vivid colours, populate the north-south-american region known as Venezuela

For many years -the revolutionary people say-, the country was led by irresponsable, antipatriotic people, that are now reffered to as the "escuálidos" (pronounced eskwälidous), which where trown down by democratic means after two ill fated millitary attempts led by the now president, comandante Hugo Rafael Chavez Frías.

Under his rule, the Venezuelan people have enjoyed the most happy and pacefull times of the last fifthy years, since by his intelligent strategies, devoted patriotism, and interest for the people, there are no more hunger, nor poverty, nor crime.

There is, however, a small fraction of the so called "escuálidos" whose tireless efforts for damaging the good and dign image of such charismatic leader have brougth the international eye upon Venezuela, but only to leave the name of the country higher, as rumours and gossip prove to be false time after time.

The venezuelan regime is like no other regime in the world, with such respectable president -whose manners and education have lifted eyebrows all over the world-, Venezuela is destined to become the next superpower in the political scenario of the world within the next couple of years, and promises to florish as a prosper, and culturaly rich nation beyond the dreams of the forefathers of the nation, not only thanks to the wise ruling of Dr. Chávez, but also for the fine spirit of it's people -with the sole exception, of course, of the escuálidos-, lovers of the fine arts, devoted to culture to admirable extremes, ethical and correct in every aspect of their lives.

It is truly a pleasure to live in such a nation, a paradise for that who wants to scape the oppression of modern life, a sanctuary for those who fleed the demmanding and, some times, insane laws that rule in other "more civilizated" countries.
