Skuza led all Funny Car drivers in reaction times in 1997. He had two runner-up finishes in 1995 (Englishtown, N.J., and Gainesville, Fla.).
Skuza began his drag racing career at age 15.
Skuza won the 1989 Supercharged Outlaw Championship. In the off-season, Skuza enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums and guitars in rock bands in Cleveland and playing pinball.
