warmth floods over me
as I hear your voice
happiness surrounds me
and I close my eyes.
I imagine us together
sweet kisses
gentle touches,
feeling each other's feelings.
so peaceful together
yet so far apart.
True soulmates
that may never be together
sharing fantasies and dreams
apart from the world
in our own special place.

A special place
wind whispers through my hair
as i ride up the hill quietly
as i reach the top
i gaze upon the beauty before me
dismounting my horse
i sit on a rock
and breathe deeply of the fresh air.
the hills roll into each other
meeting in little valleys
in the distance
the blue of the lake
mixes with the soft white clouds
of the sky.
so peaceful and serene
the wild life wanders by
aware of me
but not afraid.
They have seen me here before
and know i won't harm them.
All alone in this special place
wanting so much to share it
with someone special.

Memories of us together

My love is marching
through my heart,
crying out for you
slowly the love dies.
Emptiness remains,
a painful memory
of what used to be
A wound that never heals.
My heart is trembling with fear
that you are gone forever,
never again to return,

for being so foolish,
to think you'd stay forever,
pain too strong to describe.

Here we are
together at last,
We both forget

But temporarily we indulge

Though distance is between us
we are still together in our hearts.
We truely care for each other ,
and that is what really counts.
We say that our love
will last forever and ever ,
But that is a very long time;
and we will have to brave
all sorts of bad weather.

The roaring guns flash fire
into the deepness of the night,
bodies of brave men strew about
all bloody in the dim moonlight.
The booming of bazookas
ringing loudly in my ears,
the shriek of a man dying
and painfully leaving behind all his fears.
The dim buzzing of the helicopters
flying high overhead,
The roaring explosion of a bomb
falling somewhere in the dimness up ahead.
The final fight for true victory,
the last day of living in hell for me,
the " grande finale"
that isn't as grand as many believe.

Starlight on the glistening waters

A seagull in the sky

Geese sitting quietly
and still as a decoy.
