*Continued from RP #1*

Eric Bischoff: Booker, we need to talk.

Booker T: What about, boss? Everything alright? You look kinda pale.

Eric Bischoff: Booker, I have some news that might make you a little nervous, and that's perfectly fine. I just don't know how to say it.

Booker T: Eric, just say it man. You losin your mind? What's this shit about?

Eric Bischoff: Book, someone's out to get you.

Booker T: Oh really? Who wants a match? Book that shit fo next week, my schedule's free.

Eric Bischoff: No, Booker. Not like that. Someone..... someone's after your life.

Booker T: Y...You're joking, right? What kinda wacky shit you tryin to pull now, E?

Eric Bischoff: I've never been more serious in my entire life. Somebody is trying to take you're career away from you. This afternoon, I received a letter in my mailbox today that said someone from your past will be returning very soon, and he's going to bring you straight to hell. Booker, I don't know what to tell you, I mean, there's nothing I can really do about this...

Booker T: Well who is it?

Eric Bischoff: I wish I knew, Booker. Your guess is as good as mine. Who could it be? You have any ideas?

Booker T: Eric, I have no clue. You ain't just bustin my balls here, right? I mean you got me so far, and if this ain't true, and you keep draggin it out, I'm gonna be one pissed off man...

Eric Bischoff: FOR CHRIST'S SAKE BOOKER, I'M SERIOUS! Get this through your head! Why would I joke about something like this? You're in grave danger Book, and I don't know what to do.

Booker T: E, maybe it's just a prank or something. I seen this happen to other guys before, and it could just be fanmail or something. I wouldn't take this too seriously.

Eric Bischoff: You can never be sure, Booker. Crazier things have happened, and I'd be pretty scared right now if I were you. The only thing I can't figure out is... who in the world would want revenge from you? Have you done anything THAT horrible to anyone? I mean, really really bad?

Booker T: Nothing at all, E. I just don't know what to think right now. I'm not gonna take this too serious until we hear from this guy again. Who knows, maybe it's one of the guys in the back trying to scare me or some shit like that. It could be anything.

Eric Bischoff: Booker, you've laid pretty low while you've been here. You've only been in 3 matches, and you haven't made any enemies at all. I don't think this is the work of someone in WME... I think this could be somebody from back in WWE, or even WCW for that matter. I mean, who, besides everyone in the back, would know that we're working together? We're not just boss and wrestler... we help each other out, you know? Book, if I was you, I'd find a friend very quickly. I don't care if he's in the back, I don't care if he's on Slam, I don't care if he's in the audience. Hell, I don't even care if you randomly pick someone off the street. You need someone that can watch your back, Booker. As soon as possible.

Booker T: Eric, I really don't think I have to do that. I think you're blowin this shit up way out of proportion. But, you are my boss, and you'e just lookin out for me, and I respect that. I'll make a few phone calls, and see who I can dig up. Alright? Now go get some sleep or some shit, because you look like you're about to die. Don't get yourself all worked up over this. This is my problem, it ain't yours.

Eric Bischoff: I know, Book. I know. If you need anything, you know where I'll be. Take care.

((Eric Bischoff stood up, and shook his head like he was dizzy. He proceeded out of Booker's locker room, as Todd Rodriguez, also known as Todd Rod, walked in))

Todd Rod: Booker, can I get a few words with you?

Booker T: Who the hell are... OHHH! Todd Rod! How the hell's it going, man? Sure, go ahead. Is this for your little show thing?

Todd Rod: You mean SmackDown CountDown? It most certainly is. I guess you just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, Book.

Booker T: Naw man, it's all straight. But if you wanna talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time, talk about D-Lo Brown. The time sure as hell aint gonna be right for him on SmackDown when I whoop that ass.

Todd Rod: Booker T, we all heard you speak in front of the fans, and you sure seem determined to beat D-Lo Brown, but I found something you said very interesting. Was it a true statement when you said that some of the guys in the back expect D-Lo to take you down this week?

Booker T: One hundred percent true. I heard more than 3 guys in the back talk about how D-Lo Brown is gonna take that old man to school. Ain't happenin, Todd. Not this week, not never. Booker T's time is now.

Todd Rod: I personally happen to agree. I just can't see how some wrestlers that you've worked with in the past are betting against you in this one. I mean, you definitely have the experience advantage, and from what we've seen so far, you have the talent advantage also. How can Booker T be the underdog in this match?

Booker T: You know, that's a good question. I'm not really sure, though. Some of the wrestlers back here just haven't taken a liking to me. I don't know why, because I haven't done anything wrong yet. I can't tell you. What I can tell you is that D-Lo Brown isn't leaving without a fight, and win or lose, I will make a loud statement. I know D-Lo is quite possibly my toughest opponent yet, but that's not a signal for The Booker Man to quit, now is it? Have I ever quit, Todd? No, I haven't. Now, it's time for Booker to prove to the world that I still have what it takes to be champion of the world, and there's no better way than to just keep on winning. I haven't lost yet, and shame on me if I do.

Todd Rod: Well Booker, eventually, everyone suffers a loss. I mean, even Goldberg went like 250 wins in a row, and he lost, too.

Booker T: Oh absolutely, Todd. I'm not saying that I'm never gonna lose. All I'm tryin to say to you is that I don't know if D-Lo Brown is gonna have what it takes to take down the 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME, 5 TIME WORLD CHAMPION on this given night. But if he does, and I'm wrong, then God bless him. Anything he gets tonight, he's gotta earn, cause Ol' Booker's comin with his A game.

Todd Rod: Just one more quick question, Book. How do you feel about the Tag Team Tournamen in general, and do you think you and youre partner, Xavier, can win it all?

Booker T: At first, I was a little shakey on the idea. But now that I've thought about it and entered, I love it. This is a great way for the SmackDown staff to show just how talented we are, and it's about time to crown Tag Team Champions. Do I think Xavier and I can win the tournament and become champs despite never even meeting eachother? Yes. When you put Xavier and Booker T on the same team, you've got two of the best wrestlers on the SmackDown roster. When the time comes, X and I will prove to the world that we're that good, and that will boost both of our careers even more. I can't wait for this tournament to start. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a very important phone call to make. We all set, bro?

Todd Rod: Yes. Thank you Booker, and the best of luck to you in your match against D-Lo Brown.

((Todd Rodriguez exits Booker's locker room, and Booker closes the door. He walks over to the nearby table, and picks up his cell phone. He dials an oh too familiar number, and waits for the man on the other side to pick up. The phone rings 6 times, and Booker is forced to leave a voice message.))

Booker T: Hey, Stevie Ray, long time no see, man. It's me, Booker. I really need some help from you, bro. Call me when you get this message, cause this is very important. Keep in touch, brotha. Bye.

((Booker T hung up the phone, walked over to the couch, and sat down. He buried his head in his hands for a few moments, and then looked up at the ceiling. Then, he slowly raised his right hand, and stared at it for about 10 seconds before it started to shake. Booker shot up and screamed ""Let's go, son!" And ran out of the locker room. Booker is ready to fight more than ever.
