1972

In 1972 The General Post Office issued the first Maltese Stamps Set with the Decimal Currency known as 'Decimal Coinage Commemorative Set'. This set consisted of eight stamps and was designed by George M. Pace

Malta issued their second stamps set later in 1972 and the theme was 'Europa'. This set consisted of 4 stamps and the stamps were designed by the Finn Paavo Huovinen.
