About Our Songs


   
   It is my experience that every person learns
   in a variety of different ways.  One effective
   method of learning and retaining is by using
   songs, rhythms and rhymes.



  
          I am not gifted in the area of being 
          a good singer!  Yet, I have been blessed
          to be able to make up short verses of song 
          to help the students memorize material in math.

          MOT PEOPLE CAN LEARN ALMOST ANYTHING THROUGH SONG.
         
          These short verses have been so effective
          over the years that students have constantly
          asked for more songs.  One student even called
          me from College to tell me that she was taking
          a math test and had a brain freeze.  She said
          she sat still and one of my sing songs played
          itself inside her head and she was able to figure
          out how to continue with the problem.

          At this point, I am just listing the songs.
          Later, some songs will be available with explanations.  

          One of the most popular songs verses of our
          class is The Pythagorean Theorem Song. It has been 
          very instrumental in helping the students to 
          understand the theorem and how it works.  


   My advice to you is to remember that you can use songs to help
   yourself remember things in other subjects as well as you can 
   help yourself to remember things in Math using songs.
