La foto riguarda la sfilata dei Nasi Rossi(Red noses) . Essi sono un'associazione di buontemponi( jolly fellows) che simboleggiano le priorità del genere umano(mankind priorities) ovverosia:Mangiare, bere(molto vino) e, come tu dici,bagno. Si chiamano Nasi Rossi proprio perchè mangiando e bevendo(By eating and drinking) they get their nose red. Come puoi vedere essi hanno un pitale(Chamber pot) pieno di pasta che tutti sono costretti a mangiare. Mangiando si dimostra il proprio spirito carnevalesco. Anche se non è molto piacevole mangiare pasta contenuta in un pitale. L'associazione è stata costituita nel 1900 ed è un vanto per ogni Ronciglionese parteciparvi.

Here I am while eating pasta offered by a young Naso Rosso. It was in 1988. The outstanding problem while eating was pasta being cold and flavored above all with confetti. But I had to show my carnival spirit which is deep in my mind since I am a Ronciglionese.

The"CORSA A VUOTO" it's unique in the world! Corsa a vuoto means in a verbatim translation " empty race" where empty is referred to the horses without their jockey.The horses run on a distance of1,000 yards through the main street of the town. A similar race was carried out in Rome in " Via del Corso" until the 18th century during Carnival as well.The Corse a vuoto are held in Ronciglione since 1870.
