| Story: Magic Knights Rayearth is about three girls who while on a feild trip to Tokyo Tower get summoned to a mysterious land called Cephiro. In order to get back to their world these three girls, Shidou Hikaru, Ryuuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu, must become the legandary Magic Knights and find the princess of Cephiro, Esamarude. Esamarude was kidnapped by her high preist, Zagato and since she was the "Piller" of Cephiro when she left the whole place just went berzerk! Now unkown to most people and our three heroines the real reason why Princess Esamarude summoned the Magic Knights was so that when they found her they would kill her. Esamarude had fallen in love with Zagato... a relationship that was forbiddon for the Piller of Cephiro. So in her guilt Esamarude summoned the Magic Knights to come and kill her. But Zagato would not have it and kidnapped her to keep her safe. What a twist of irony ne? So in the end Zagato was more like one of the good guys... |

| Shidou Hikaru Hikaru-san is one of the main characters of MKR. She is the Legandary Knight of fire. Her Mech and spirit is the Rayearth. Rayearth is a lion/wolf creature with a main of fire. Hikaru herself is a well spirited girl. She is short compared to the others. Short enough for them to mistake her for still being in elementry school -.-;;; But she is very good at jumping and is all for the "Save the World" thing. Hikaru is my fav. mainly because we are alike in more ways then one!!! *_* |

| Ryuuzaki Umi Umi-san is the second main character in MKR. Her Mech Spirit is Celes, a blue water dragon. Obviously Umi's elemant is water. She comes from a rich family and many say that she's as beautiful as a model. Umi at first doesn't like the "Save the world" idea and wants to go home as soon as they arrive in Cephiro. She has a bit of a temper and does not get along well with Mokona, or Guru Clef. But deep down inside she is caring for her friends and would do anything to protect them. |

| Hououji Fuu Fuu-san is the brains of the bunch. Normaly she wears glasses but when she is in her Mech she doesn't need them. Fuu's elemant is wind and her Mech Spirit is Windom. Windom is a pheonix like bird with two sets of wings. Fuu is respectful and quiet. She is at first just kinda going with the flow when they first arrive at Cephiro. Her powers are more for healing then attacking. At first her weapon is a bow and arrow then changes to a LOOOONGGGG SWORD. |

| Mokona Mokona was left with Presea, a sort of blacksmith or weapon builder, by Guru Clef. Clef was Princess Esamarude's highest mage (( no he doesn't turn "bad" like Zagato. )) Clef told Presea that when the Magic Knights came for weapons that she was to give Mokona to them. Mokona was to lead them to Zagato and was able to supply them with anything they would possibly need on their journey using the jewel on it's forehead. Mokona at most times... doesn't look like it's thinking about anything at all... And usually seams like it's more into having fun then saving Cephiro. But don't let it full you! It's vocabulary is bigger then you think! There are many versions of "Puu," more then you know! |
| Hai! There are many more characters in Rayearth. You'll probably see them in the Gallery section tho. So dun't worry you'll meet them all! Or most of them anyway... Ja ne! |
