Some Stuff to Know

Alright people, this is CLAMP! BOW DOWN BEFORE THEIR GREATNESS!!! These four ladies are the very people who gave us such great animes and mangas such as:
Magic Knights Rayearth
Tokyo Babylon
X/1999
Card Captor Sakura
Clover
Wish
CLAMP Campus Detectives
RG Veda
They are perhaps one of the most well known "mangaka" artists in Japan! In one Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon manga I saw Usagi holding a book up that said "Rayearth". So that should give you a general idea of how popular CLAMP is.

This page is going to give you small profiles on each of the four CLAMP people and some extra facts you may not have known.

Mokona Apapa

Birthday: June 1

What she does:
Mokona Apapa does some of the drawing and illistrating!
Somethin' extra:
In Rayearth, the little creature named Mokona was named after Mokona Apapa. In the manga Mokona is the "Creater of Earth and Cephiro" and in a way this is correct. Mokona Apapa is kinda the creater of the worlds that the Magic Knights live and venture to!

Satsuki Igarashi

Birthday: Febuary 8
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Blood Type: A
What she does:
Satsuki Igarashi is incharge of the design, development and assistant to drawing and illistrating.
Somethin' extra:
Yes people she DOES have eyes okay?

Nekoi Mick

Birthday: January 21
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Blood Type: O
What she does:
She, like Mokona Apapa does the drawing and illistrating.
Somethin' extra:
There has been no record I know of, of an actual group shot of the four CLAMP girls in real life. Most of the time they draw themselves as these chibified humen/animals. It looks to me that Nekoi-san ((Neko means cat)) is a CLAMP/Dog. Just like in X/1999! O.O fancy that. unless she's suppose to be a deer... ^ ^;;;;

Nanase Ohkawa

Birthday: May 2
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
Blood Type: A
What she does:
Nanase Ohkawa is in charge of the stories and the designing of the script!
Somethen' extra:
Ohkawa-sama.... I just have one thing to say about that Sei character.... ARE YOU INSANE?!

But First! A Really Sugoi Pic!

We all know that CLAMP is made up of at least four people hai? Well CLAMP acutaly had 11 members to begin with. They were:
Akiyama Tamayo
Nanao Sei
Sei Leeza
Hisagi Soushi
Nakamori Kazue
Ohmi Shinya
O-Kyon
All those ppl in that pic up there were creations of CLAMP! This pic was from something called "CLAMP in Wonderland". It's a collection of arts with all of CLAMP's best works and characters. *Hey I know some of those ppl!* Even though the other seven CLAMP members dropped out the remaining four CLAMP artists make a pretty good team.
Mokona and Mick work on the illistrations. Mokona does all the dramatic and dark stuff while Mick does all the lighter stuff. *I bet Mokona did most of X and TB!* I am still kinda learning about them but so far I think I'm more of a Mokona fan. ^ ^;;; *may I have your autograph Mokona-sama onegai?* Ohkawa-sama is the one in charge mainly. Like the group leader so to speak, sense she does all the story planning and stuff.
One of their first works that started their career was a manga called RG Veda. I have yet to see this manga but it seams worth looking in to.

While mangas such as Magic Knights Rayearth, Tokyou Babylon, Card Captor Sakura, and CLAMP Campus Detectives were made into animes or OVA's X was made into a movie and rumor has it it might be made into an anime someday!
