Mail 47: The banker pays 300 euros

Subject: Attn Dr. Musu Aga

Date: Thu, 22 Jan 2004 22:29:42 -0800 (PST)
From Cas te Kort (banker) to Musu Aga (IBA bank)

Dear Dr Musu Aga,

As yo have not replied to my last e-mail I decided simply to go ahead with the payment of 300 euros as requested. My co-worker Onno Verwonnen travelled to Copenhagen and effected the payment in the local Western Union Office there. I enclose a scan of the payslip. The cashier told Mr. Verwonnen about a security queston or something. Anyway, the question was: 'What is your favourite colour?' The answer is: 'Blue. No, yellow!'.

I would like to inform yo that it took Mr. Verwonnen all day to travel, having to cross the border twice and whatnot. Are you sure this could not have been paid by telephonic tranfer?

I hope to have served you in this matter and remain,
