"Duncan McG" William Duncan McGafferty

versus

"The Degenerate" Damien Johnson

Singles Match

Referee: Chad Pattison

[We return from a commercial and are greeted with the sound of 'Have A Drink On Me' by AC/DC, and the fans giving a rather jeerfull reception. William D McG walks out in front of the sold out crowd and triggers an even bigger response from the crowd. He appears at the top of the stage, and taunts them before casually walking down the ramp towards the ring. He enters the ring and Peter Santos introduces him.]

Peter Santos: Introducting first, hailing from Boston, Mass., weighing in at 230 lbs, he is William Duncan McGafferty!

JP: Ha! I just love that name Sully!

Sully: Gotta agree with you there JP! I mean the name makes the wrestler. Screw the charisma and talent, if he's got a cool name he'll be going places.

JP: You know damn well what I mean Sully!

Sully: Of course I do.

[As Duncan McG basks in the jeers of the fans his introductory cereymony is cut short by the sound of 'I Ain't Neva Scared' by Bonme Crusher and Damien Johnson. Damien walks out in front of the crowd and recieves a medicore response. None the less he stands at the top of the stage as he is announced.]

Peter Santos: Introducing next, from Madison, Wis., weighing in at 285 lbs, Damien Johnson!

[As soon as he is introduced, Damien charges full speed down the ramp and slides into the ring. As he does the bell sounds and Duncan McG charges right for Damien, but Damien ducks the move and runs against the ropes. As he does, he rebounds and comes back towards McG full pin, and levels him with a powerfull clothesline. Damien quickly pulls him to his feet and throws him into the ropes. McG is sent running to the ropes and is quickly followed by Damien. As McG hits the ropes, he doesn't turn and as a result runs into them chest first. Duncan McG then holds onto the ropes and Damien runs into him. Damien grabs hold of Duncan, but Duncan's grip on the ropes is too strong and Damien is sent rolling backwards. However, this only slows him down for a moment, as he springs to his feet and runs backd to Duncan. Damien quickly wraps his arms around Duncan before he has time to turn around, and then launches him into the air connecting with a massive belly to back suplex. Duncan McG's next folds in an inhumane manor, and a seering scream is unleashed by McG.]

JP: Ouch! That may have broken his spine right there!

Sully: This things may be over already, hows that for a cool name?

[Damien capitolises on the prone body of Duncan McG, who is clintching his neck, and goes for the cover. The ref quickly drops and starts the count ... 1 ... 2 ... no! McG manages to throw his arm into the air and kick out of the first pin attempt of the match. Damien shows no signs of slowing down and is quick to bring Duncan to his feet. Dmaien then places himself beside McG and quickly pulls him back down is a big side russian leg sweep. Duncan somehow staggers to his feet at the same time as Damien does, but Damien again runs towards William Duncan McGafferty. Damien then jumps into the air wrapping his legs around Duncan McG's next, pausing in the air briefly before swinging his weight down with a head scissors armbar. Damien keeps hold of McG's arm and then gets to his feet and then leg drops the elbow of William, driving it painfully into the mat. Again, Damien drops for the cover once again. The ref is quick to follow and slap the mat once again ... 1 ... 2 ... no! Again, William McG somehow manages to break free from the pin.]

JP: This match has been nothing but Damien!

Sully: Heh, guess that whole name theory of yours is sheer garbage!

JP: I don't have a 'name theory'. What the hell are you talking about?

Sully: Denial will get you nowhere!

[Damien has now gotten to his feet, and has turned his attention from Duncan to the crowd. He is taunting the fans as William fianlly gets to his feet. William tries to sneak up behind Damien, but Damien somehow manages to avoid the clothesline aimed for the back of his head, by ducking and getting behind McG. Duncan gets pulls backwards, and has his back arched in a painfull way. Damien then drops him down to the mat and connects with an inverted DDT. Damien then signals once again to the crowd. Damien backs off a bit, and stalks William as he tries to get to his feet. William slowly staggers up, but has his back to Damien. As he groggily turns around, Damiens charges towards him and irish whips him into the turnbuckle, following him in, and thrusting his knee into William's stomach, finishing the Preparation!]

Sully: There it is JP, William McG is now ready to be finished, he has just been his by a 'Preparation'!

JP: A devastating move for sure. Poor William has been on the wrong end of everything here tonight.

[As Duncan lingers in the corner trying to catch his breath, Damien is pumping himself up, getting ready to finish things off. Damien moves over to the corner and props him up onto the second turnbuckle. Damien is looking for the Total Annahilation as he sits Duncan McG onto his shoulders. William however fights away from the move by punching Damien in the head, forcing him to fall back onto the turnbuckle. William McG then out of nowhere nails Damien with a beautifull hurricanrana. Both men go down and stay down for quite a while before they simultaneously stagger to their feet. William gains coherency first and hatily moves towards Damien. He locks up with him and throws him into the ropes giving chase evidently looking for the Drunkard Slam. Damien however gaabs hold of the top rope and twirls himself into the corner, where he rests for a meer second. William moves to the corner intent on getting his revenge when suddenly Damien drops down and the gets between William's legs hoisting him onto his shoulders. William again tries to fight his way out, but this time Damien manages to get up onto the second rope. By this time William McG is trying with all he's go to break free, but this time he cannot. Damien drops down off the ropes and hits the Total Annihilation! He turns it into a pin, and the ref is again quick to cover ... 1 ... 2! "Duncan McG" kicks out!]

Sully: How the hell!?

JP: He just kicked out of the Total Annihilation, that's incredible.

[Damien Johnson can't believe it as he slams the canvas and shouts at the referee...."Duncan McG" gets to his feet and "The Degenerate" grabs William Duncan McGafferty and looks to whip him into the ropes but McGafferty reverses and sends Johnson into the ropes, as Johnson comes back then McGafferty extends his leg and the crowd jeer as the IRA kick is fired into the chin of "The Degenerate" and he is dropped to the mat. "Duncan McG" rolls up Damien Johnson in a cover, he has hold of Johnson's tights and referee Chad Pattison doesn't notice and counts...1...2...3!]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, William Duncan McGafferty!

Sully: This one is over!

JP: I can't believe it! Damien Johnson looked like he had this one won.

Sully: It's amazing what a big heart can do, and "Duncan McG" showed us there that he is no pushover, he was not going to roll over for Johnson.

JP: Perhaps he does have a future, we'll soon see, Johnson is furious.

[Damien Johnson gets to his feet and shouts at referee Chad Pattison, William Duncan McGafferty rolls from the ring and makes his way up the entrance ramp, ignoring the jeering fans on either side. "The Degenerate" shouts after McGafferty but the Bostonian ignores Johnson and continues up the entrance ramp.]

Sully: I think Johnson wants another piece of McGafferty, but I don't think that is a wise idea...he just got his ass kicked.

JP: Johnson would kill "Duncan McG" right now if he had the chance, poor old Chad Pattison is really having his ear bent.

Sully: He made a fair count, in what he viewed as a fair pinning move...he couldn't see everything that would happen.

JP: Damien Johnson doesn't see it like that.

Sully: He's a sore loser, what do you expect?

JP: He has a future Johnson, "The Degenerate" could be a big force in the MWF if he can get a few victories to his name.

Sully: No one cares about him, that's his trouble, he's like Troy Knight, no one cares.

JP: Everyone cares about Troy Knight, especially Ace Spade...those two have been kicking off for weeks but they are still to get in the ring.

Sully: Ace Spade is going to become a legend in this company, he's the cleverest wrestler I've seen in a long time.

JP: He's not as good as you make out, first of all he is a violent thug.

Sully: He's violent yes, but it is how he uses the violence that is so clever.

JP: I think we may see him tonight, Troy Knight is wrestling in a triple threat and where Troy goes, Ace goes.

Sully: Ace has hit home at Troy Knight's weak spots, those close to him...Bobby and Taylor-Thomas have felt the wrath of "The Player".

JP: I feel sorry for Doris in all this, she's been caught in the middle of a viscous war and she has to decide which side she's on.

Sully: She's on Ace's side, there is no other side for her.

[We cut backstage to the locker room of Ace Spade and Doris.]

Doris: Ace? Ace, I heard what happened to Jonathan the other day… was that you?

[Doris sits in Ace Spade's dressing room, as The Player paces back and forth, wrapping lengths of white tape around his wrists.]

Ace Spade: It may well have been me, Doris. I honestly don't remember &endash; I was angry.

Doris: So it was you?

Ace Spade: Who's to say it wasn't the lover Troy Knight, huh?

Doris: Why would you hurt Jonathan? Aren't your problems with Troy?

Ace Spade: A problem with Troy is a problem with Jonathan. A problem with Troy is a problem with little Bobby. And so on, and so forth.

Doris: Just leave Bobby, okay?

Ace Spade: Yeah, yeah…

Doris: YOU PUT HIM IN A WHEELCHAIR!

[Ace halts in his tracks and turns to Doris with shocking coldness in his eyes.]

Ace Spade: And who suffered the most, Doris? Was it not Troy Knight? I hurt his loves, and he is too weak to return the favour.

[Ace continues his taping of the wrists.]

Doris: Ace? Ace, why are you wrapping your wrists &endash; you aren't wrestling tonight.

Ace Spade: Oh I well may be wrestling, Dor.

[The Player exits, leaving Doris dumbfounded.]

JP: I can't believe it, Ace Spade doesn't even listen to the lovely Doris...at least she has her head screwed on correctly.

Sully: Ace Spade knows exactly what he is doing, he's going to settle a score with Troy Knight that has needed settling for some time.

JP: He's just jealous of everything that Troy Knight has.

Sully: How could someone be jealous of Troy Knight? I think it is the other way round, Troy is jealous of Ace and of Doris.

JP: Doris is a good woman, her hearts in the right place but her allegiance is not.

Sully: You think she should leave Ace Spade for Troy Knight?

JP: Not for Troy Knight but just to get out of there and find someone else, Ace is a madman, you saw what he did to Johnathon, that was terrible.

Sully: It was all neccessary, it served as a warning to "Troy Boy".

JP: It was not needed, and what about the attack on Bobby, an eight year old boy had his knee popped because of Ace Spade, that kid is going to have trouble walking for the rest of his life because of Ace.

Sully: The boy brought it on himself, for a start he should never have disobeyed his doctor's orders, why did he get out of the wheelchair?

JP: Let's have a look at the men in this match...

Sully: Freddy Ryder, he's a talent, he could make a big impression here and word has it that this match is effectively a pre-cursor for a match at Implosion to decide where the vacant MWF Television belt goes.

JP: I think we all know Troy Knight is worthy and able of winning that belt.

Sully: Don't count out the others, Rodney Ferno has been finding form even though he's a complete asshole.

JP: Why do you not like him? Rodney Ferno is a good guy and he has a good manager behind him.

Sully: He does have the beautiful Kelly Day, I'll give him that, she is drop dead gorgeous...and the lovely Stephanie is with Freddy Ryder...but Troy Knight has to bring a damn kid to ringside.

JP: Nothing wrong with that, there are kids younger than that down at ringside in the seats.

Sully: But their parents are getting the hell beaten out of them in a wrestling ring are they?

JP: Prediction then, who will win?

Sully: I think Freddy Ryder, he needs a win to get back on track and I think the crowd are so focused on Knight and Ferno that Ryder could be the dark horse in this match and he'd like nothing better than to win the belt of arch rival Rick Jones.

JP: The "Canadian Connection" member vacated the belt when he left the MWF a sad dya for wrestling that.

Sully: Bring back the "Connection" I say, I'd love to see them at Implosion, wouldn't that be amazing...the third team being the "Connection".

JP: I am sure we will find out soon who the third team will be, only twenty days until Implosion and it's already looking like a great pay-per-view.

Sully: Every two months something special happens in the MWF and the pay-per-views have that extra special air to them because they are so spread out.

JP: Wrestling getting back to basics, let's see if Troy Knight can make his stand and move a step closer to becoming MWF Television Champion!
