Samuel Livingston
versus
MWF Xtreme Champion: "El Mexicano Condena" Leandro w/Jimmy
Pez
Projekt Xero Rejekted! Qualifying Match
Referee: Chad Pattison
Writer: Steven Avigne
JP: What a night we have in store, and first
up we have the Mexican beast Leandro taking on Samuel Livingston,
both men rising stars.
Sully: You kidding me? Leandro is a rising
star, Livingston is heading for a downfall.
JP: It seems as if Leandro is heading
straight to the top, but Livingston is getting there, and this is his
chance to prove that he is ready for the big time by getting a
victory here and heading onto the Project Xero tournament.
Sully: Livingston, in the PX
tourney...that's a laugh.
Peter Santos: The following contest is scheduled for one fall,
and it is for a spot in the Project Xero tournament. Entering first,
weighing in at two hundred three pounds, Samuel Livingston!
[Samuel Livingston walks through the curtains and down the ramp
along with a few cheers and boos, mostly a neutral reaction from the
crowd due to their lack of knowledge of the youngster. The wrestler
rolls into the ring and onto the second turnbuckle where he attempts
to get a reaction from the crowd, but unfortunately to no avail.]
Peter Santos: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring
by Jimmy Pez, from Tijuana, Mexico, the MWF Xtreme champion,
Leandro!
[Leandro and Jimmy Pez walk down the ramp, the Pez ranting on to
the cheering crowd, while Leandro walks solemnly with no emotion but
anger. Livingston shows a bit of fear as Leandro jumps onto the apron
and over the top rope, moving closer to the recently promoted
Livingston. Pez stands at the side of the ring as the bell rings.
Livingston looks for a way to attack the beast, going in for a
clothesline but bouncing right off the giant.]
JP: Leandro is the biggest man in the MWF,
and Livingston knows it.
[Livingston again goes for a clothesline, and again bounces right
off the giant. The only thing this seems to do is anger Leandro, and
the last thing he needs is any more reason to hurt someone. Samuel
goes for the clothesline once more, but Leandro catches his arm,
raises him in the air with it, then drops him to the mat. Livingston
rolls to the corner, holding his arm and keeping his guard up, amazed
at the strength at the Mexican Convict. Getting bored of the slow
pace, Leandro charges at Livingston while he rests in the corner.
Samuel is able to duck under the bottom rope to the outside before
Leandro crushes him.]
Sully: Come on Livingston, face your
fear!
JP: I think he underestimated the monster
Leandro, which is a bad, bad move.
[As soon as Samuel exits the ring, Pez runs over and begins
chewing him out with numerous hateful words. He eventually backs
Livingston into the side of the ring, where Samuel pushes him back.
As Pez falls backwards onto the announcers table, Leandro grabs
Samuel by his hair and lifts him back up onto the ring apron, then
tosses him into the ring. Livingston gets to his knees quickly and
begs Leandro not to hurt him, but as referee Chad Pattison is looking
to see if Pez is okay, Livingston gives Leandro a low blow, sending
the monster to the mat.]
JP: There's one way to bring a monster
down.
Sully: There's one way to bring any man
down!
[Livingston yells at the ref to look, then rolls on top of the
Xtreme champion for the pin, 1...Leandro pushes Livingston off him
and high into the air to a corner ringpost. Samuel seems bewildered,
not knowing what it will take to keep the monster down. Livingston
decides to capitalize on the opportunity, going toward Leandro and
grabbing him by his long black hair, but as he gets Leandro halfway
up, the Mexican Convict grabs Livingston by the legs and slams him to
the mat in a hellacious spinebuster. Samuel lays motionless as
Leandro looks at his seemingly dead body. Instead of pinning him
right there and then, he decides to fill the young man in on what it
means to feel pain. The Xtreme champion picks Livingston up, grabs
him by the throat and tosses Samuel into the corner ringpost.]
JP: What power by Leandro!
Sully: He's tossing Livingston around like a
rag doll!
[Leandro begins tossing multiple punches to the head of Livingston
before running back, then charging again and crushing Livingston with
an avalanche slam.]
Sully: Livingston can't avoid that move
twice!
[Samuel collapses in the corner, but Leandro grabs him before he
falls. At this time, Pez is going nuts with excitement, watching this
monster devour Livingston with such ease. Leandro tosses Livingston
up to the top rope, then turns him around so he is facing the crowd.
The Xtreme champion goes to the second rope and latches his arms
around Livingston, sqeezing tightly afterwards, tossing Samuel around
while applying a reverse bearhug. Leandro finishes the move by
slamming Livingston to the mat face first, causing such a deafening
boom that some fans are left holding their ears.]
JP: Convict Suicide from the top
rope!
Sully: That was a monstrous slam!
[The force is so great it actually sends Leandro back to his feet,
and instead of covering the injured Livingston, he just stares at his
lifeless body. Now, Pez is going insane. He's jumping up and down
outside the ring yelling some Spanish at Leandro. The Xtreme champion
does nothing but stare at Samuel with eyes filled with rage, then out
of nowhere screams out with his arms flexed wide, showing the crowd
what kind of anger he holds. The fans go bananas, cheering Leandro's
name constantly. Referee Chad Pattison is on the mat attending to
Livingston, and as he attempts to help Leandro finally goes to his
knees, rolls Livingston over, and goes for the easy pin, 1...2...3!]
JP: What an utterly dominant show by
Leandro.
Sully: That man is a force to be reckoned
with.
Peter Santos: Here is your winner, and through to represent the
Maximum Wrestling Federation at Projekt Xero Rejekted!, Leandro!
[Leandro gets back to his feet and holds his arms up in victory,
then rolls out of the ring. Pez greets him, trying to hold his hand
up but being too small to reach. Instead Jimmy just cheers on as the
two walk up the ramp, Leandro still only showing the one emotion he
entered with...anger.]
