Dynamite 07/02/2005
[The fans roar with anticipation as "The Everlasting Gaze" by The Smashing
Pumpkins hits the PA system and the crowd are on their feet waving their banners
in support of the Maximum Wrestling Federation. The camera swoops low over the
crowd and reads a sign that simply says 'WEW SUCK!' before swooping to the
announce able where we see John Pilkington and Tim Sullivan.]
JP: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night
Dynamite, and it's a very special show tonight because the Conflict is just six
days away.
Sully: That's right folks, in just six days time we'll be in Cleveland, Ohio
to see the MWF take on the WEW in what should be an all time classic.
JP: Right now we're here for the Conflict 'pre-show' in Springfield,
Illinois.
Sully: The WEW will be here tonight, there is no doubting that many men will
be trying to get a hold over each other before they meet on Sunday.
JP: I hear that Thunder Bull will be here tonight, the MWF World Heavyweight
Champion will make a declaration before he leads the MWF into their day of
reckoning.
Sully: I remember when all this began a lot of people weren't expecting the
MWF to hold their own against the larger and stronger roster of the WEW, but
they have, and all credit to them.
JP: This MWF roster might be small, but it is by no means untalented.
Sully: We're going to see some fresh talent here tonight as well, the MSW is
sending five of its best up to compete against what you could call five of WEW's
worst.
JP: I wouldn't call them the worst, they just happen to be five upcoming WEW
wrestlers who President Ben Harlum thinks will be big in the future.
Sully: Between you, me and the MWF crowd...that just means they suck.
JP: It was the WEW that certainly sucked last week, Cyberslam saw a massive
victory for the MWF as Thunder Bull, The Grudge, Sozzey, Mak, Gunman Stinger,
Father John Ramsey and Doomsday managed to strike a massive blow to the WEW
ahead of Conflict.
Sully: Shall we take a look back?
JP: Definitely, roll the footage...
{{{[X struggles to get a firm grip of the enormous legs
of GMS until finally he turns GMS around and looks for the
submission. The crowd scream in anticipation of the win as GMS
screams in pain. GMS raises his hand in the air…
Steve: This is it…Tap damn it!
Alex: I never lost faith in WEW
Steve: Here it is… and… OH! NO! That bastard!
Alex: Steve, you can’t say that, that’s
Father James in that ring, what faith do you have?
Steve: The same one you have in WEW
Indeed, Father James has broken up the sharpshooter and
attacks Jeff X as he lay on the mat. This sees Carter enter the ring
and attack the father from behind and once again we have an all in
brawl. M-Unit goes after the grudge as they fight on the outside
whilst Kronik team up on Benoit, with Doomsday directing the
traffic. Carter battles on with Father James as they tie up in the
ropes as Havok and Thunder Bull go at it on the ring apron. All
while Jeff X and GMS crawl to their respective corners. M-Unit
suddenly rolls back in the ring, quickly followed by the Grudge as
they continue their war that started at MWF Authority. Almost
simultaneously, both men notice their struggling partners and stop
their attacks on each other, choosing rather to attempt the legal
tag whilst the rest of their teams battle it out ringside.
Steve: This is a race now, who can get to
their team mate first?
Briggs: It has to be Jeff X, it just has to
be!
X and GMS continue crawling to their corners as M-Unit and
the grudge bounce up and down on the apron, pleading for their
teammates tags. Both Jeff X and GMS make the tags at the same time
and as the crowd roars, as the two extreme big men of the match
clash once more, dueling lefts and rights in the middle of the ring!
Steve: This is what we came to see, a WAR!
The Grudge manages to catch the upper hand after cheap
shotting M-Unit with a knee shot to the gut and then landing a
running knee lift to the temple of M-Units head. The Grudge laughs
as M-Unit lay prone for any attack. The Grudge menacingly slides
under the ropes and back outside. He briefly glances at Karagious
before reaching under the ropes for a steel chair. Grudge holds the
chair in the air like a trophy for all to see before he climbs back
up on the apron and through the ropes. M-Unit is slow to get up as
grudge awaits him from behind, holding the chair up in the air,
ready to strike like a coiled up cobra prepares to kill. Suddenly, a
massive roar comes from the crowd.
Steve: KARAGIOUS IS OUT OF HIS CHAIR!
The roar grows even louder as Karagious leaps to the ring
apron and stands behind the grudge. Just as Grudge gets set to
attack M-Unit with the chair, Karagious grabs the chair from behind
and clocks Grudge over the head with it as grudge spins around. The
crowd lifts the roof off as Karagious tosses the chair to M-Unit and
pulls a lead pipe from his jacket. The two nod at each other and
then jump outside, hitting everything and anything in their path.
Kronik go down with massive chair shots from M-Unit. The crowd goes
nuts as Karagious takes out Thunder bull with a clean shot to the
head with the lead pipe. More carnage ensues as M-Unit reaches under
the ring and produces a barb wired baseball bat. He tosses the bat
to Karagious, who begins to hunt down the Grudge. The camera shots
continue to switch between the separate battles taking place all
over ringside.
Steve: THIS IS INSANE!
Briggs: Unbelievable, simply, unbelievable!
Steve: Karagious is back and he saving the
day for WEW…
Alex: Backup Plan? This is the Backup Plan!
THWACK!
Briggs: Oh god what a shot that was!
The camera switches back to see a twitching Father Ramsey at
the feet of a steel chair wielding M-Unit. M-Unit briefly looks down
at his MWF opponent before moving on and hitting a big boot to the
head of GMS on the outside of the ring.
Alex: This is carnage… just who in the hell
is legal in the match?
Steve: I think you’ll find it's M-Unit and
the Grudge
Alex: Oh my…
The fight continues on the outside as Havok and Carter slide
back into the ring and both try to climb the ropes to hit a move to
the outside. They argue with each other as M-Unit rolls into the
ring to sort the argument out. Meanwhile, Thunder Bull is back on
the apron and Grudge has crawled back into the ring, slowly heading
to a tag out to the MWF Champion. On the other side of the ring,
Havok and Carter look at M-Unit and shake their heads before
climbing to the ring apron. Suddenly, GMS comes flying across the
ring, knocking M-Unit into Havok. The referee calls the legal tag as
M-Unit is dragged outside. Grudge makes the tag and Thunder takes
Havok by surprise, rolling him up into a pin. Carter looks set to
step in a break up the pinfall and then steps back outside as the
pin fall victory is registered for the MWF.
Timothy Rogers: Ladies and gentlemen…your winner… the…
MWF!…]}}}
JP: And there you have it, the MWF dominated Cyberslam
and came away with a vital victory.
Sully: Thunder Bull must be on fire right now, he's winning every match
that's put in front of him.
JP: He won't find it easy taking on Tivelli, the WEW World Champion is a
tough nut to crack.
Sully: True, Tivelli wasn't even in that match and the two men clashed on
Cyberslam.
{{{[Thunder Bull walks round a corner and continues down
the corridor, his MWF World Heavyweight Championship on his
shoulder. He snarls at a WEW backstage hand as they scuttle past,
attempting to avoid the gaze of "The Perfector of Pain".
Steve: What a jerk, someone needs to take that guy
and just shove his head up his own ass.
Alex: Something tells me it's already there.
Briggs: It certainly is!
Thunder Bull walks past a figure sitting on a box, half
hidden by the shadows. Thunder Bull stops as the figure on the box
speaks.
Voice: Hey...champ.
Thunder Bull turns round and faces the figure, the man slowly
slides off the box and his face becomes clear. The crowd can be
heard cheering wildly as Cristiano Tivelli is revealed as the man,
the WEW Championship belt on his shoulder.
Thunder Bull: Well, if it isn't Tivelli.
CT: Yeah that's right, how are you Bull?
Thunder Bull: Not bad, in the right kind of
mood to kick some WEW ass tonight.
CT: Oh yeah...well I don't think there is
much chance of that.
Thunder Bull: Really? What makes you so sure?
CT: You don't know my boys very well do you?
Those guys will stop at nothing to defeat your mob.
Thunder Bull: Funny that you're not putting
yourself in this match.
CT: I already have a match....
Thunder Bull: ...that never stopped Gutter
Rat.
CT: He was a fool, he burnt out.
Thunder Bull: Don't you remember that famous
saying, "It's better to burn out, than fade away."
CT: Cobain was a fool to. And you'll be a
fool tonight Thunder Bull, what makes you so confident, everyone
knows you can't do anything alone...always needing outside help.
Thunder Bull takes a step nearer to Tivelli and the crowd
start to make more noise as they sense a conflict.
Thunder Bull: I don't allow people to...
CT: Yeah Yeah, champ, save it for the ring.
Thunder Bull: Oh I will, come Conflict I'm
going to make you wish you were never born.
CT: I'm shaking, like a fucking leaf.
Tivelli pretends to shake and walks right up to Thunder Bull
and the two men stay locked in each others gaze for a few moments,
before Thunder Bull smashes CT in the face with a strong right hand.
The WEW Champion is knocked back by the force of the blow and he
holds the equipment box for support. Thunder Bull drops his belt and
grabs Tivelli, the WEW Champion attempts to break free but Thunder
Bull slams Tivelli's face into the equipment box.
Steve: Ah man! Thunder Bull is assaulting our
champion.
Alex: Someone get back there and beat the
living hell out of Thunder Bull.
CT is struggling to get up as Thunder Bull looks to kick the
downed champion...but Tivelli grabs "The Perfector of Pain" as he
goes for the kick, keeping hold of his leg he twists it round and
sends Thunder Bull to the floor. He leaps onto the back of the
grounded Thunder Bull and grabs the back of his head, and drives it
into the concrete floor.
Steve: Here come the security...
Security rush in and pull Cristiano Tivelli off Thunder Bull
and keep them apart, as Thunder Bull gets to his feet and has to be
restrained.]}}}
JP: That was a good move by Thunder Bull, as he
continues to sweep aside all before him.
Sully: He's the biggest name the MWF has right now and he's only going to get
bigger and better.
JP: Another name the MWF really feels will be up there by the end of 2005 is
Father John Ramsey...an incredibly talented priest turned wrestler.
Sully: He's not that talented.
JP: He is...a man who can mix religion with wrestling is also a genius. I've
just heard we will be going backstage shortly to see Father John Ramsey conduct
a prayer circle for all those wrestling tonight.
Sully: What a great idea!
JP: Did I detect a hint of sarcasm Sully?
Sully: Might well of done. Seriously, this is not a time for prayer...this is
a time for fighting, training and damn hard work. Not sitting round in a circle!
JP: Well...think what you like, we're going backstage....
[The shot opens up on Father John Ramsey. He is
sitting in a large room vacant room. He has his traditional priest robes on
which do not show off much of his thin frame. His short brown hair is neatly
combed to the left and he has a medium sized wooden cross in his hands. He is
sitting down in the middle of a group of chairs which are set around;
approximately twenty in a circle. Each one of them is empty except one; it is
filled by Father John Ramsey's new manager; Eric. Father John Ramsey and Eric
both have a confused look on their face. Father Ramsey speaks.]
Father John Ramsey: I told them all to be here and nobody
is here.
[Eric throws in a short comment.]
Eric: I don't get it, Father. I can't believe this...
[Father Ramsey scratches his head.]
Father John Ramsey: Everyone, everyone has gone mad!
[Eric and Father Ramsey are speechless over the apparent lack of interest in
both sides' goodwill. It is obvious to the two MWF associates that this "War"
may be a lot worse than they thought. Suddenly the door to the room bursts open
and Father John Ramsey's opponent for Conflict stumbles in, apparently blind
drunk.]
Jeff X: Ohhh....durr durr durr, another one bites the
dust. Come on now Father, rejoice with me.
[Father John Ramsey rises up from his chair, his face turning a deep shade of
red with anger. He bellows and points towards Jeff X.]
Father John Ramsey: And what, is the meaning of this?
Jeff X: Why Father I was just rejoicing in the eyes of
the good Lord. Well...what was going on here?
[Jeff X looks round at the twenty empty chairs and starts to laugh. Father
John Ramsey says rather quietly...]
Father John Ramsey: We were going to be holding a
prayer circle...
Jeff X: ...a what?
Father John Ramsey: A prayer circle.
[Jeff X cups his hand to his ear and leans forward towards the priest.]
Jeff X: Sorry Father, I didn't quite catch that.
[Father John Ramsey growls and pushes a chair out of the way, he stands right
next to Jeff X and glares at him.]
Father John Ramsey: I suggest, that you, take your
sorry excuse for a life and remove it from this room right now.
Jeff X: And there was me thinking that a man such as
yourself, would forgive me for being a little deaf. But oh no, you don't have
the time to waste on the likes of me do you Father?
[Father John Ramsey walks past Jeff X and leaves the room, as Jeff X runs out
into the hall and shouts after him.]
Jeff X: Where you running to Ramsey? Going to cry to
the Lord? Come back here and face your demon!
[Jeff X laughs as the camera cuts back to JP and Sully at ringside.]
JP: Whoah! Tensions are really running high between
those two men at the moment, I hate to think what is going to happen at
Conflict.
Sully: It's going to be a ferocious battle that's for sure, redneck and
religion will meet head on in a battle you will not want to miss.
JP: I think Jeff X might have just scored a point over Ramsey there, the
priest looked mortified at having his prayer circle interrupted.
Sully: There wasn't exactly much to interrupt was there?
JP: Well no, but it's the basis behind it. He was interrupting a prayer
circle!
Sully: I'm sure Jeff X has interrupted much worse, but it could back fire on
Jeff X.
JP: How?
Sully: He's going to be stoking the flames and the last thing he'd want is an
angry Father John Ramsey.
JP: The priest does have quite a ferocious temper when he gets going.
Sully: Exactly, if Father John Ramsey is all fired up and Jeff X is thinking
he's got under Ramsey's skin then you could see a real turn around in events.
JP: I do sometimes wonder if Ramsey wants to wrestle?
Sully: Of course he does, it's in his blood.
JP: He has holy blood...
Sully: ...holy blood!?
JP: Well he is a priest.
Sully: Sometimes I can't believe how naive you are Pilkington!
JP: Ah just forget it, well I've been told that tonight on Dynamite we're
going to have some very special guests.
Sully: Would they be from WEW by any chance?
JP: I've no idea, but it'll be interesting to see who they are.
[At that moment the WEW commentary team walk down the entrance ramp, no
music, no announcement, as Steve Patterson, Alex Irvine and Dr. Xachary Briggs
troops down the ramp.]
Sully: What the hell are this lot doing out here?
JP: I'm not sure Tim, but I don't like the look of this.
Sully: Arm yourself JP!
JP: With what?
Sully: I don't know....anything!
JP: The WEW commentary team are not supposed to be on this broadcast, I know
I have to work with Briggs and Patterson at Conflict but I don't want to work
with them before that.
Sully: There's only two microphones on this desk and I'll be damned if I have
to give one away, especially mine...
[The WEW commentary team walk around the ring and head towards the commentary
table. JP acknowledges them with a smile, but the WEW commentary team really
aren't smiling. Dr. Xachary Briggs walks up to JP and grabs the headset off him,
Sully leaps up and attempts to grab it back but he's restrained by Alex Irvine
and Steve Patterson.]
Briggs: Well, well, well, the WEW are back in town. Sit
down Pilkington! I said sit the hell down!
[The crowd respond with jeers as Briggs dresses down their leading
commentator, as JP sits down then Sully is hauled off by Steve Patterson and
Alex Irvine. The headset is thrown to JP who stutters.]
JP: What's the meaning of this?
Briggs: I'm going to be joining you for the rest of the night John, I figured
we should really get to know each other ahead of Conflict.
JP: Maybe so, what have you done with Sullivan?
Briggs: He's being taken care of, we all know you don't need that pipsqueak.
JP: He may be annoying sometimes but he's still my friend and I don't want to
see him get hurt.
Briggs: Sully won't be hurt, he's just being detained. Let's think about
this, he's not going to be calling any matches at Conflict so what use does he
have on the Conflict pre-show.
[JP sighs and seems to accept the fact he's going to be stuck with Briggs for
the rest of the night.]
Briggs: Shall we get on with the action?
JP: Hell, why not. You looking forward to this one Xachary?
Briggs: I most certainly am, Team WEW are right here and ready to take the
MSW boys to town.
JP: Have you seen any of these MSW wrestlers before?
Briggs: No I can't say I have, would you like to enlighten me JP?
JP: It's a strong team, featuring Seraph, The Shade, Samuel Livingston,
Leandro and Slade Kinzip.
Briggs: Who? What?
JP: Well The Shade is currently the MSW Global Champion and he replaced
Salvador Galdini in this match after Galdini decided to leave the MSW.
Briggs: I don't blame him, who would want to be stuck down in that no talent
pit?
JP: There are some very talented wrestlers in MSW, and also some of them are
starting to break out...
Briggs: ...like Steven Douglas?
JP: Yes.
Briggs: I wouldn't call him talented, Lee Watson is going to spank his ass
all over that cage tonight.
JP: That's later, we're focusing on Team MSW versus Team WEW, why don't you
tell us about these five wrestlers your boss has sent over?
Briggs: You've got quite a lot of talent there, James Carter is a great
wrestler...a self proclaimed 'General' and he'll have the troops in order
tonight that's for sure.
JP: I hear there is some conflict between James Carter and Adam Havok.
Briggs: Yeah, there is some.
JP: Doesn't that worry you when we're going into a match where team work is
important.
Briggs: Doesn't it worry you that Leandro has threatened to destroy the
entire ring, no matter who stands in his way? That Mexican is a nutcase!
JP: A talented one, I was speaking to Jimmy Pez earlier and he's confident
Leandro can channel that aggression against the WEW.
Briggs: Yeah, just let him bring it to us and he'll go back with his tail
between his legs.
JP: You've got Samuel Livingston in there as well who was a former MWF
wrestler and has competed on this stage before...and Seraph, a bit of a wild
card but he's got real talent.
Briggs: Real talent? I didn't know they had that in MWF!
JP: I think the match is starting shortly, we'll be back after this
commercial break.
