Bandit versus Sam King, Singles Match

Peter Santos: The following Hardcore contest is scheduled for one fall…

["Shitlist" by L7 bursts from the PA system as Bandit appears on the ramp. The crowd stay quiet as he ushers himself to the ring. He jumps through the ropes and stands in the centre of the ring.]

Peter Santos: Hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona… "The Loose Cannon"… Bandit!

Sully: Bandit seems focused.

JP: Lets see if King has a similar state of mind.

["Not Enough" by Our Lady Peace radiates the arena. Sam King strides out onto the entrance ramp and gives a menacing glare to Bandit.]

Peter Santos: And his opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds…"The King"… Sam King!

[The bell sounds and Bandit charges at Sam King. King slides from danger and sends Bandit into the turnbuckle. As Bandit turns to his opponent he is met with several stiff stomps to the abdomen. He goes down and rolls from the ring. King leans over the top rope to grab "The Loose Cannon," but Bandit ducks away from Kings hand and pulls the Tag Champion from the ring.]

Sully: This Hardcore match is about to taste the brutality.

JP: I think it's gonna be King and Bandit who taste the brutality, Sully.

[By the crowd barrier, the wrestlers exchange punches. Bandit gains the uppers hand and whips King towards the ringsteps. King reverses and forces Bandit towards the steal steps. His knees collide with the chunky metal, as King turns his attention to underneath the ring. He disappears for just a moment, before reappearing with an iron baseball bat!]

Sully: What!? How sinister!

[Sam King approaches Bandit &endash; who sits on the ringsteps recuperating. King swings the bat and barely misses "The Loose Cannon." The bat connects with the ringpost and leaves an indentation. Bandit scrambles away and makes his way round to the other side of the squared circle exterior. He ducks under the ring and pulls out a steal chair. He slides back into the ring and awaits King. Sam sees know fear as he slides into the ring. Bandit sends the steal chair across his spine. King rolls over and grips the baseball bat tightly.]

JP: Bandit has got some serious work to do now, it seems King is on fire tonight. It's gonna take a madman to knock him down.

[Bandit lifts the chair over his head, and then throws it down over King. As the steel approaches Kings spine once more, he leaps into the air and gives Bandit a low blow with the bat! Bandit crumples to the floor whimpering.]

Sully: Ouch!

JP: That's screwed Bandit's chances of reproducing!

[King drops the bat and takes the steel chair that missed his backbone by inches. He drops it over Bandits wriggling body and then ascends the top rope.]

Sam King: THE DESPERADO!

Sully: But that's Bandits finishing move!

[King flips into the air for the shooting star legdrop. Now in mid-air, King is met with the steel chair from Bandit! However, both King and the chair still come crashing down over Bandit. The ring is left in a mess. Blood seeps from Bandit's forehead and to the corner of the dented ring. The referee suddenly notices Bandit's foot is dripping over King's chest. 1…2…shoulder up!]

JP: It seems this could go in either mans favour now, Sully.

[King is the first up. He staggers back into the corner and stares down at the disastrous scene. Bandit slowly stands and turns to Sam King. "The Loose Cannon" runs at King, but the Tag Champ hits a elbow to the head and hooks Bandit up under his arm. He takes a run up the ropes and spins in the air, landing a perfect Spinning DDT into the wreckage of baseball bat and bent steal chair!]

JP: Good God!

[King makes the cover. 1…2…3!]

Peter Santos: And your winner, Sam King!

[King rolls from the ring, drenched in Bandit's blood. He makes his way up the ramp as the crowd cheer.]

JP: What a win for the former Xtreme Champion, he's still on form Sully.

Sully: Can't say he's any better, once again getting a lucky victory...

JP: Lucky! This man does not work around the concept of luck, King's above that now, I'd like to see him take a step further to the main event.

Sully: Might take him a step nearer to losing his life if he did that, besides he has Wildfire to deal with first.

JP: Ah yes, King and Wildfire have been exchanging words and a match has been booked for next weeks Dynamite.

Sully: The MWF TV Title will be on the line, Wildfire defending against Sam King.

JP: Chance for King to grab his third title of his MWF career, and become a double champion once again.

Sully: Those tag belts are not falling from around the waists of King and Jay-Z.

JP: And I doubt they ever will, they're a great team, I can seem them holding them until Christmas...imagine that!

Sully: I'd rather not...

JP: Does nothing put a smile on your face Sully?

Sully: Only certain things...and I can't repeat them on air.

[The camera cuts backstage and Joe Foale is strutting around, he walks down a corridor and greets all the staff.]

Foale: Good evening to you all!

Crew: Hey Joe, you got a match tonight?

Foale: Nope...

Crew: How come?

Foale: Dunno, they didn't book me.

Crew: Shame really, would have loved to have seen you fight tonight.

Foale: It's a good card without me, but it'd be a great one with me!

Crew: Sure would.

Foale: You seen that nasty piece of work Tempest anywhere?

Crew: Last I knew he was crying in the locker room.

Foale: Haha! Good one, well if you see him then, well you might not if I get to him first.

[Foale runs off down the corridor, leaving the crew member looking rather confused, we cut back to JP and Sully.]

JP: Young Joe Foale is on the look out for Tempest...the old stallion formerly of the UWF.

Sully: Old stallion but still a very dangerous competitor.

JP: He can still work a ring thats for sure, but I tell you, this is the MWF and its a lot different working in these smaller environments.

Sully: The crowd's closer to you...

JP: The rings smaller...

Sully: And a host of other things, but, Tempest sure can handle all of it, he's a born winner.

JP: Yeah, but Joe Foale has the adventurous spirit of youth and that is going to either win him a lot of matches or get him in a lot of trouble.

Sully: Trouble most likely, he's gone looking for Tempest and in my books he is just looking for a fight.

[The camera cuts backstage again and we are in the MWF locker room, Tempest is sitting, reading a local newspaper, 'The Illinois' is in his hands and he frowns as he reads of a troubling story. He shakes his head and puts the paper down, the door is flung open and Joe Foale bursts in.]

Tempest: Foale...

Foale: Temp! My old buddy, there you are!

Tempest: Buddy?

Foale: Yes, I just thought I'd come and find you a week in advance and wish you the best of luck before I whip your ass around the ring next Monday.

Tempest: Interesting...

Foale: Do you only give one word answers man?

Tempest: No....

Foale: What the hell!?

[Foale goes to slap Tempest round the head, but Tempest catches the hand of Joe Foale and twists it, he gets to his feet and using his force he swings Joe Foale so that Foale thuds into the wall, Tempest is next to him, staring into his eyes.]

Tempest: Now listen kid, I don't want to fight you...I don't want to hurt you because I have much bigger things on my mind.

Foale: I'm bigger than you think...and don't call me a kid!

Tempest: I'll call you what I want...kid.

Foale: The only kid round here is Kid Insanity!

[Tempest plants his knee in the back of Joe Foale's knee, and the young man buckles slightly, Tempest drags him up and throws him down to the floor. Tempest takes a piece of paper from his pocket.]

Tempest: Joe, last night I recieved something in the mail that I thought perhaps I should tell you about.

Foale: What's that? I slept with your wife?

[Tempest brings his foot down hard on the throat of Joe Foale.]

Tempest: No, it is a short letter addressed not jus to me...but you as well. It doesn't make much sense.

Foale: Well what does it say? It probably makes about as much sense as your ass....

[Tempest unfolds the paper and reads in a very slow voice.]

Tempest: Time is right....a clear Monday Night....will spark away your fears....and begins the cheers.....now I shall return....not just to burn....riding free.....I shall spoil a victory....my face you know.....your weakness shows....your knees shall tremble....your feeble defences crumble...

Foale: What? Let me up, I want to read it!

[Tempest takes his foot off Foale, and Foale jumps up and grabs the paper and quckly reads it.]

Tempest: Are you not worried?

Foale: Worried? I'm about as worried about this as I am about the fight you'll put up next week!

[Foale rips the note in two and then walks to the door, Tempest stoops to pick up the paper and he looks at it to see the words facing him are 'your weakness shows', a puzzled look is across Tempest's face.]

Foale: See you next week...old man!

[Foale opens the door and walks out, leaving the door wide open behind him. The camera quickly goes back to John Pilkington and Tim Sullivan.]

JP: It all gets weirder Sully!

Sully: Looks like Tempest and Joe Foale have been shot a warning, but is Joe Foale listening?

JP: I have to say that young man is certainly showing his inexperience by not listening to such an experienced man like Tempest is.

Sully: Tempest knows that there is something wrong...and next week I can gurantee that he'll be prepared to deal with some unexpected company.

JP: Someone, or something should I say is going to disrupt the match between Joe Foale and Tempest.

Sully: It's very weird for it to be put out that publicly, I hope Joe Foale is ready to be humiliated.

JP: It could all be a hoax?

Sully: I doubt it....it sounded very serious, you heard what it said.

JP: I'm sure Tempest will have it all under control, it's all very exciting.

Sully: And dangerous. You forget the danger involved in all of this JP.

JP: Ah well, it's Tempest versus Joe Foale at Monday Night Dynamite next week, both men are looking to gain their first win over each other after the match at March Madness ended in a draw.

Sully: That was one hell of a match JP, they both went at it like hammer and tonges...I was very impressed.

JP: It showed Joe Foale's potential....

Sully: And also that Tempest can still very much cut the mustard.

JP: I'll tell you who is very much cutting the mustard at the moment...The Jeopardizer, the MWF's Xtreme Champion is really raising his game.

Sully: And he has to raise it even higher tonight, against Kid Insanity.

JP: Kid has a lot to prove, not just to himself but to the whole of the MWF.

Sully: After that terrible injury he has made a stunning comeback, especially after what he did at March Madness, causing absolute chaos in the tag team match.

JP: I was suprised he didn't help Nova and Bandit...

Sully: Why would he want to help losers like those two? They can't win a match to save their lives.

JP: I bet that we're going to see more than two men involved in this match tonight, it's possible for King, Bandit, Nova and Wildfire to be out there to try and get involved in this match.

Sully: Wildfire has a score to settle with The Jeopardizer and Kid Insanity, he's been talking about them for the last few days.

JP: Wildfire is another who has pushed his game up, the powers that be are very happy with his contribution at the moment.

Sully: Kid Insanity remains the benchmark, and tonight he will show exactly why he is in the MWF spotlight once more!
