Wildfire

versus

"The Outlaw" Danglin Johnson

Singles Match

Referee: Chad Pattison

Writer: Jake Rhodes

JP: This is set to be a very interesting match, the rookie Danglin Johnson takes on a wealth of experience in the form of Wildfire. Wildfire is a man who will take whatever risks are needed to win the match and I'm sure he will show Danglin Johnson no mercy tonight.

Sully: That's the first smart thing you've said in your entire career, JP! Wildfire is wrestling like a man possessed. He's going to tear Danglin Johnson limb from limb.

JP: We shouldn't count out this MwF newcomer too quickly Sully, I'm sure he's full of potential. You don't get any bums here in the MwF.

Sully: Apart from Troy Knight...

JP: Stop right there Sully before you dig yourself in a hole you can't get out of..

Sully: Hmm, I've heard Troy Knight's been in a few holes he had trouble getting out of!

JP: Alright stop!

Sully: You sound like a Vanilla Ice impersonator JP! Word to your mother!

JP: It's going to be a long night...

[While JP and Sully continue their bicker Peter Santos steps between the ropes and into the ring. He's dressed smartly in a well pressed tuxedo with a small MwF logo on the breast pocket. Santos raises his microphone to his mouth and begins the introductions for the first match of the night.]

Peter Santos: Ladies and gentleman, making his way to the ring first...Hailing from Dallas and weighing it at over 230 lbs, "The Outlaw" Danglin Johnson!

[The unique sounds of "Tourniquet" by Marilyn Manson blast around the arena and the debutant Danglin Johnson makes his way to the ring. He's wearing some plain black trunks and has his hair closely shaved to his scalp. He walks down the ramp to a small cheer, however most of the MwF fans are unsure how to react to him.. Johnson slides into the ring and goes through a few stretches on the ropes while Peter Santos introduces his opponent.]

Peter Santos: And now introducing a former MWF Television and Tag Team champion. He weighs in at a lean and mean 210 lbs and was born and raised in Bad Streets, USA. Here is Wildfire!

[The MWF fans rise to their feet and begin to jeer as "The Beautiful People" begins to blast around the arena. However Wildfire is nowhere to be seen. Danglin Johnson leans on the ropes nearest to the ramp, awaiting his opponents arrival but the entranceway is empty. From ringside Wildfire jumps over the barricade and attacks Danglin Johnson from behind with a clubbing forearm. he then rips off the boiler suit he was wearing to disguise himself as a member of security.]

Sully: That shows the smarts of the man the call Wildfire. He's took the advantage right from the get-go.

JP: I don't agree with those types of tactics but they do prove to be very effective.

Sully: This will prove a valuable lesson to Danglin Johnson, you need eyes in the back of you head in this game.

[Wildfire lays in with some stiff kicks into Danglin Johnson's ribs until referee Chad Pattison manages to pull him away. Wildfire retreats to the opposite corner while Danglin Johnson pulls himself up with the ropes. Chad Pattison calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Both men charge at each other and enter a collar and elbow tie-up. Using his weight advantage Johnson pushes Wildfire into the corner. Wildfire seems shocked at the display of power from the newcomer and quickly enters another collar and elbow tie-up to prove himself. This time Wildfire brings a quick knee to Danglin Johnson's gut which leave Johnson doubled over in pain. Wildfire goes for an axe kick but Johnson catches his right leg and connects with a dragon screw.]

JP: A sound piece of technical wrestling from Danglin Johnson there, Wildfire may not have the easy match he was expecting here.

[Wildfire rolls through and get right back up, he runs at Danglin Johnson but gets put back down with a deep armdrag. Again Wildfire gets up and runs at Johnson and again he gets sent straight back down with a drop toe hold. With Wildfire landing face first on the mat he doesn't get up as quickly this time, Danglin Johnson beckons him up by raising his arms. With a hint of grogginess Wildfire pops up and runs straight into a high impact thrust kick, Wildfire's eyes are glazed over as he flops to the canvas. Danglin Johnson hastily drops down to make the cover.]

JP: This could be a huge win for Danglin Johnson....

Sully: No! Get up Wildfire!

[1.....2...KICK OUT! The crowd boo Wildfire who manages to get his right shoulder up just in time. Needing to clear the cobwebs Wildfire rolls out of the ring but Danglin Johnson goes straight out for him. Johnson tries to connect with a bulldog but Wildfire is able to catch him and hit a modified short powerbomb. Danglin Johnson's back makes a loud slapping sound on the thing, blue protective mats outside of the ring. Chad Pattison is up to a count of 7 when Wildfire rolls back into the ring. With Johnson still stranded outside the ring Wildfire runs the ropes, using his aerial skills Wildfire jumps on the top rope and hits a springboard shooting star press.]

JP: Good God almighty! That's one of the most spectacular moves I've ever seen!

Sully: He's broke both himself and Johnson in two! Surely neither of them will be able to continue the match after that?

[Despite the high impact of the move on both combatants, Wildfire gets back to his feet relatively quickly and rolls himself, and Danglin Johnson, back into the ring. Chad Pattison makes a quick check on Danglin Johnson to see if he is okay to continue, meanwhile Wildfire is escalating the turnbuckle. Like a Leaping Lizard, Wildfire jumps off the top rope and hits a picture perfect frog splash. Danglin Johnson gasps out in pain as all the air in his body is driven out by the impact of the frog splash. However Wildfire doesn't go for the pinfall. Instead he lifts up Johnson's carcass and hits with a spine crushing brainbuster, the crowd collectively gasp. It looks like Danglin Johnson can't move.]

JP: My word! Wildfire might have ended Danglin Johnson's short lived MwF career with that one move.

Sully: That was a brutal brainbuster, absolutely brutal. Johnson landed right on the flat of his head, I'm not sure if he's going to be able to get up at all.

[Wildfire shows no respect for his opponent's body as he picks Johnson up by the neck and places him throat first across the middle rope. Again Wildfire climbs to the top rope and this time scores with a leg drop right across the back of Johnson's neck, with the joint force of the leg and middle rope Danglin Johnson's windpipe is effectively crushed making it difficult for him to breath. Wildfire lands monkey bone first on the apron and takes a nasty spill out of the ring where he lands flush on right shoulder. Chad Pattison begins to count him out, with there being no danger of Danglin Johnson getting up. 1.....2.....3.....4.....5.....6.....7.....8, Wildfire struggles to get up and rolls back into the ring taking care not to put any excess weight on his shoulder.]

JP: That's the problem with high risk moves Sully, you can end up being just as hurt as your opponent. Wildfire may have fractured his shoulder or collar bone right there.

Sully: You cannot deny how tough Wildfire is though, there's no way he'll want this match due to his injury. He wants to rack up another victory. Just like last week when he beat MwF TV champion Troy Knight.

JP: Whoa. You and I both know that Wildfire cheated to get that win against Knight, he had his feet on the ropes.

Sully: I'm looking at the MwF record books here and all it says is "Wildfire over Troy Knight via pinfall". It's just ashame the title wasn't up for grabs, that title looked a lot better on Wildfire than it does on Troy Knight.

[Using his left arm, Wildfire picks up Danglin Johnson and props him up in the corner. Wildfire goes to the other end of the ring and charges at Johnson for an attempted spear, however Danglin Johnson drops down and Wildfire runs shoulder first into the steel turnbuckle. As a screech of pain leaves his mouth he trips up over Johnson's flat-out body and lands on his back. Referee Chad Pattison begins to make a double count-out. 1.....2.....3.....4....5, Danglin Johnson begins to stir, 6.....7, Johnson slowly begins crawling to Wildfire, 8.....9...Johnson drapes his arm over Wildfire's chest.]

JP: Danglin Johnson is going to win his first match in MwF!

Sully: Get up Wildfire, get up, get up, GET UP!

[The crowd shout along with the referee's count, 1.....2.....KICK OUT! Everyone in the arena lets out a collective sigh as Wildfire is somehow able to life his foot onto the bottom rope to break the count.]

Sully: Thank you God, Allah, Buddha, Jehovah, Vishnu and whatever other Gods there are out there!

JP: You really are a nutter, you know that don't you?

Sully: Shut your bleaters JP, everyone knows I'm the best commentator in this "team" of ours. You're like the Sonny to my Cher.

[After several seconds both men are able to stand and they begin throwing weak looking punches. Right fist after right fist connect with forehead until Danglin Johnson begins to force Wildfire onto the back foot. Johnson whips Wildfire into the ropes and connects with a kick to the gut before going for his Danglin Devastator (Ace Crusher) but Wildfire uses his last drops of strength to push Johnson back into the ropes. "The Outlaw" Danglin Johnson meekly bounces off the ropes and straight into a spinning kick from Wildfire. Wildfire drops down for the pinfall. 1.....2.....3!]

Peter Santos: Your winner, by way of pinfall, Wildfire!

JP: He beat Danglin Johnson with the Heaven Sent, that's one of Troy Knight's signature moves! Wildfire is trying to stoke up Knight into putting that TV title on the line.

Sully: I told you so JP. The next time that Wildfire beats Troy Knight it'll be for the Television title. Mark my words, we'll see gold around Wildfire very soon.

JP: I'm sure Troy Knight will have something to say about Wildfire using one of his moves to pick up the victory, we'll have to wait and see how this feud develops.

Sully: All we need is Troy Knight to get his stupid ass down here and be brave enough to put the belt on the line.

[Wildfire stands in the centre of the ring, staring at the entrance way as if awaiting the MWF Television Champion....the crowd watch with baited breath to see if the "Troy Boy" appears. Wildfire slowly turns away from the entrance ramp and stares into the crowd.]

JP: Even Wildfire seems to sense that Troy Knight will be coming out here, the MWF Television Champion needs to come out here and put Wildfire straight, you can't use another man's move.

Sully: Yeah you can, Insane Wayne used it the other week on Ace Spade....but according to you JP that was an incredible act.

JP: It was, using the MWF World Champion's move against him in his own match but it's another thing entirely if you use it when the man isn't even there.

Sully: I'm looking forward to seeing Wildfire face off against Troy Knight for the belt, we all know that Wildfire was a better MWF Television Champion than Troy Knight can ever hope to be.

JP: It will be an epic battle between two very talented wrestlers...

[Wildfire shakes his head and slowly walks from the ring, making his way up the entrance ramp as no sign of Troy Knight can be seen. Danglin Johnson is left downbeat in the ring.]

Sully: That was a great way to kick off the show, I'm really looking forward to tonight because we have some incredible matches.

JP: Including the MWF World Championship on the line, Doomsday is going to try and take the MWF World Championship for "Twisted Vizion".

Sully: It will be Ace Spade's first defense of the belt and we all know how talented he is.

JP: He's also the worst MWF World Champion the MWF has ever seen.

Sully: This personal vendetta has got to stop...

JP:...Why?

Sully: Because it's petty! He's the MWF World Champion and you, well, you're just JP!

JP: Just JP! I am the MWF's top commentator...

Sully: ...Thank God I wasn't eating anything just then or I might have choked on something.

JP: We've got the MWF Xtreme Championship on the line as well, with Jay T defending against the impressive Carnage.

Sully: Carnage is lucky to have the match, a title shot in his debut...what's going on?

JP: He's a big guy and I wouldn't argue with him Sully!
