Kid Insanity
versus
Wildfire
Singles Match
Referee: Chad Pattison
Writer: Ken Bremner
[The lights go out inside the MWF arena as 'The Beautiful People'
hits the PA system and the fans cheer. Wildfire's video begins to
play as a yellow spotlight cascades to the top of the rampway leading
to the ring. Out of a small curtains comes the former Television
champion wearing his usual attire, a pair of three quarter length
black shorts, a black t-shirt and a pair of trainers. He stands at
the top of the ramp saluting the fans support for him. Wildfire
slowly makes his way to the ring as his music blares. He gets into
the ring and is handed a microphone. He stands central as his music
fades and begins to speak.]
Wildfire: Later on tonight you people will
be treated to the real return of Wildfire when I take on Kid
Insanity!
[The fans cheer loudly as these word echo throughout the arena.]
Wildfire: But I ain't out here to talk about
my match. You see I am here to question a certain general manager's
leadership skills.
[The fans are extatic because of their hate for Dom Stoate.]
Wildfire: I've been watching him these last
couple of weeks and I'd have to say he is the biggest jackass I have
ever seen on television. I mean he does nothing but walk around this
federation giving it large and doing nothing about it. I've seen
children walk into the wrestling business with more power and effect
than this jackass.
[The fans begin a 'Wildfire' chant as he smiles in the centre of
the ring.]
Wildfire: Dom, if you're watching I suppose
you oughta here my thoughts about you. Well I think you have to
realise you're overpowered by Portway and plainly Edward Walker's
bitch.
[Dom Stoate comes out from the curtains looking frustrated, he
holds his microphone in hand and speaks.]
Dom Stoate: Now you listen to me Wildfire...
How dare you come out and insult me. I had you under my wing and
I...
[Wildfire cuts Dom off.]
Wildfire: Blah, blah,blah... You're ego
takes over your speech again. Now I wander, bitch, why don't you dare
step into the ring.?
[Dom looks embarrased.]
Wildfire: If you ain't getting in the ring,
I'm coming down there...
[ Wildfire slowly makes his way towards Dom Stoate at the top of
the ramp but as he does Enigma and The Hobo step out in front of Dom
as a protective layer. Wildfire looks down at his feet analyising the
situation. He speaks into his microphone.]
Wildfire: It's on!!!
[Wildfire runs at The Hobo and Enigma knocking them both flat.
Wildfire begins to stomp a mudhole in Enigma and The Hobo gets to his
feet. He runs at Wildfire but is knocked onto his ass with a clean
punch. Dom Stoate has grabbed a chair from the side of the ramp and
clonks a unsuspecting Wildfire round the back of the head with it.
Wildfire turns round and sadisticall laughs at him. He punches him,
knocking him to the floor and grabs the chair, he is about to hit him
with it when Hobo hits him in the back of the head. He turns around
to be greeted with a clothesline, sending him to the floor. Hobo and
Enigma pick him up and Dom Stoate smiles as punches Wildfire in the
face repeatidly, opening him up. The Hobo begins to climb up the
maxitron. He is ten feet high on a ledge and hits the 'Spare Change
Splash' and gets up. The three men stand united over Wildfire's body
as they raise their arms.]
Sully: Well folks, up next we should have
Wildfire vs. Kid Insanity.
JP: Wildfire doesn't look in good
shape!
Sully: Right JP. Wildfire suffered a loss to
an injured Seth Caliko last week, while Kid Insanity has not been
seen in the ring since his MCPW loss to the McW's Jay Gold.
JP: I think ring rust is going to be a huge
factor against Kid Insanity. Wildfire lost last week, but he still
wrestled.
Sully: I'm going with Kid on this one. He
seems to discovered a new fire within himself.
JP: Wildfire has done the same! Just because
one man claims to be "reborn" doesn't mean another is gonna lose.
Wildfire wants this more.
Sully: I totally disagree with you, JP, but
let's let the match decide it. Peter Santos is in the ring
now.
Peter Santos: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
On his way to the ring first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at
225 pounds, KID INSANITY!!!!!
[Kid comes out to "Insane Insane Insane". The crowd cheers as he
walks down the aisle. He has something of a bewildered look on his
face, and the reason become obvious.]
Sully: I wonder where Biggles is.
JP: That's something for Kid to worry about
after the match. If he focuses on her now, Wildfire will tear him
apart, and you can't argue that Sully.
Sully: Kid Insanity enjoys a rare size
advantage in this one. Although, I don't think this match will be
about power.
JP: No, I agree. This one will be about
speed. And that's why I think ring rust is gonna hurt
Insanity.
Sully: Well, I can't think of a better match
for Kid to shake off that rust and dazzle the crowd. And here they
go!!!
[Wildfire and Kid start tearing into each other with a series or
rapid right fists. Kid manages to duck a Wildfire punch and tries to
hit a spinning kick. Wildfire ducks under it and comes back with a
spinning kick of his own, but Kid bridges his back down to duck under
it Matrix style. He quickly brings his left foot up into Wildfire's
temples. Kid runs up behind Wildfire and tries to score a victory
roll, but Wildfire holds onto the ropes. Kid falls to the ground, but
dodges a Wildfire elbow drop. Kid nails a boot to Wildfire's gut, and
tries for a suplex. Wildfire is able to roll out of it and roll up
Kid for a quick two count. Kid goes for a dropkick, but Wildfire
catches his legs, causing Kid to slam to the ground. Wildfire lifts
Kid up for a spine buster, but Kid is able to get one leg free and
flip Wildfire to the ground with a flying headscissors. Kid quickly
throws Wildfire into the ropes and buts his head down for a back body
drop. However, Wildfire stops short, and sets Kid up for a powerbomb.
Kid counters and hits a Hurricanrana pin for a two count. Wild kicks
out, and the crowd cheers as the two stare at each other after
neither could gain the upper hand.]
Sully: What a match we have here!! I think
you have to stop thinking that Kid isn't fast enough, JP.
JP: Don't count your eggs before they hatch,
Sully. Neither man's got the advantage right now.
[Kid and Wild lock up, with Wildfire grabbing Kid in a headlock.
Kid throws Wild into the ropes, then dodges a clothesline from
Wildfire. Wildfire stops short behind Kid, and grabs him for a
back-to-back suplex. However, Kid flips over Wildfire's shoulder, and
tries for a back suplex of his own. Wildfire flips over Kid's
shoulder… but only to land himself outside of the ring!]
Sully: It always helps to watch your
footing.
[Kid quickly ascends the top rope, looking for some offense on
Wildfire. Wild is quick back to his feet however, and throws his arm
into the ropes, causing Kid to slip up top. Wildfire slides back into
the ring, and climbs to the top rope, looking for a hurricanrana on
Kid. Wildfire brings the move down… but Kid is able to lock his own
feet under the second rope to prevent them from going anywhere. Kid
Insanity yanks Wildfire's legs from around his neck, and leaves
Wildfire hanging on the turnbuckle in the Tree of Woe position. Kid
jumps forward off the turnbuckle, throwing his foot back into the
stomach of Wildfire!]
Sully: That was some unique offense by
Kid!
JP: Yeah yeah… wait, who's that coming down
the ramp?
[The camera cuts to reveal Jay T walking nonchalantly down the
ramp with his Tag Title belt over his shoulder. As Kid lays the boots
into Wildfire, Jay T joins Sully and JP at the broadcast table.]
Sully: Jay! It's a pleasure to have you with
us!
Jay T: Yeah, I'm sure it is.
JP: What brings you down to our neck of the
woods? Coming to cheer Wildfire on, like me?
Jay T: Listen, JP. I don't give a rat's ass
who wins this match, but that doesn't mean I want your opinion. In
case you didn't notice, I'm one-half of the MWF World Tag Team
Champions. And as far as I'm concerned, if you've got the gold you
deserve the mic. Can you prove me wrong on that, jackoff?
Sully: Well, not really. Kid's doing a
number on Wildfire.
[Kid brings Wildfire to his feet, and tries for a powerbomb! But,
Wildfire is able to slide out of it, and clotheslines Kid to the
floor! Wildfire measures Kid as he gets up, and knocks him down with
a spinning kick! Wildfire points to the top rope, and goes up for a
frog splash! However, Kid was just playing possum! He runs up to
Wildfire and clocks him on the side of the head! Kid climbs to the
second rope, and grabs Wildfire in a suplex position.]
Jay T: A superplex, huh? Big deal. I can do
that asleep.
JP: That's not possible.
Jay T: Shut up JP! Jeez, ya think he'd
recognize a figure of speech.
[Kid, however, doesn't go for a normal suplex. Instead, he brings
Wildfire up in the air and spins with him, nailing a SECOND ROPE
INSANE BRAINBUSTER!!! Wildfire is nearly out cold near the side of
the ring!]
Sully: Oh my god!!! The Insane Brainbuster
from the second rope!!!
JP: Okay, I can't deny that was
impressive.
Jay T: …
Sully: If Kid can make the cover, it's
over!
[Kid rolls Wildfire over, and makes the cover. Chad Pattison
counts it. ONE… Two…THR-NO!!!! Wildfire possesses enough awareness to
get his foot on the ropes!!! Kid breaks the pin, thinking he's won,
only to have Pattison tell him it was a two count! Kid argues with
the ref, saying he had him for three!]
Jay T: Jeez, yeah, like the ref is gonna
change his mind. See, that's why you need to pin the guy in the
center of the ring, like I did with Seth Caliko to win MY Xtreme
title.
JP: Um… it was Kid Insanity that won that
title for you!
Jay T: JP, I've had just about enough of
you! Who made the pin? Me! SO, who won the title? Me! Nothing else
counts. So just shut the hell up unless you want to face me in a
match too!
[Kid turns around, only to walk right into a desperation
clothesline from Wildfire! Wildfire slowly gets back to his feet, and
stomps Kid a few times. He yanks Kid to his feet, and hits a
devastating powerbomb! He goes to cover Kid, but Kid somehow kicks
out! Wildfire goes for a powerbomb again, but Kid back body drops him
over his shoulder! Kid runs at Wildfire as he recovers, but Wildfire
nails a drop toe hold, causing Kid to land onto the ropes in perfect
position for the 619!!! However, Kid dodges out of the way, with
Wildfire catching his balance on the ring apron. Kid knocks Wildfire
off the apron into the barricade with a shoulder block from behind.]
Sully: Kid just brought himself a breather
here!
[All of a sudden, Kid gets back to his feet, and notices Jay T
sitting at the broadcast table. The two get into a shouting match,
with Wildfire slowly climbing back into the ring. Kid turns away from
Jay T, and walks into a spinning kick from Wildfire! Wildfire climbs
the top rope, signaling for The Crisis!]
Sully: No! Not like this!
Jay T: Well boys, I've seen all I wanted to
see! I'm outta here.
JP: Jay just gave Wildfire the opening he
needs! Hell, it was Kid's damn fault for getting distracted!
Sully: Dammit JP, you know Jay had no
business down here!!!
[Wildfire jumps off the top rope and nails The Crisis!!! He makes
the cover, and Chad Pattison counts! ONE… TWO… THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!]
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Wildfire!
Sully: I can't believe this! This match was
nowhere near over, and because of Jay, Wildfire picks up the
win!
JP: What did I say? Wildfire won. Not the
most respectable win, but the fact is he won.
Sully: Lot of questions to be answered. Why
WAS Jay T here? And what happened to Biggles the Jenks?
JP: Well, maybe we'll figure out those
answers after we take a commercial break!
