MWF Tag Team Champion: "The Phenomenal" Tyson Corvis w/Iniquity

versus

"The Answer" Ken Cruise

Singles Match

Referee: Brian Ford

Writer: Dom Stoate

Sully: I bet I know something you don't know.

JP: I bet it's something quite trivial too, right?

Sully: No, actually.

JP: Then what?

Sully: Did you know that both of these wrestlers are the same age? They are both 24.

JP: Why, yes I did, actually. And how, sir is that not considered trivial?

Sully: Well, if I had said that it &endash;was- trivial, then you wouldn't have wanted to hear it.

JP: Well, I knew anyway.

Sully: Can we just call the match?

JP: Certainly. Both young men are in the ring, and are desperately waiting to impress not just the management, but also the fans of the MWF, after all, it is the fans that are responsible for showing how well the wrestlers are doing here, and so it is crucial that you win them over and the sooner you do that, the better.

[Tyson waits in the ring for Ken Cruise to get himself ready, testing the ring ropes as he stands there.]

JP: Both men looking fit and more than ready for their match-ups.

Sully: I don't know, but I think my money is going on Tyson to win this one.

JP: Why's that?

Sully: I don't know, it's just a feeling I've got about him.

[The two men face each other in the ring, Tyson clenching one knuckle in the other one as he glares at his opponent.]

JP: Well, both men are new the MWF game, and I'm going to say this now, it certainly isn't going to be experience that wins the match for either of these two.

[The bell eventually rings and the two men lunge at each other. Tyson gets the upper hand, locking his opponent into the collar elbow tie-up. There is a lot of jockeying for position, and Tyson gets the upper hand with this as well, getting behind Ken and locking him up from behind into a sleeper hold. Ken would struggle before dropping down onto his shoulders, lifting his feet and pushing at Tyson with his feet, throwing him over and onto the canvas onto his back. This gets a pop from the audience. Tyson gets to his feet quickly, and is met by an arm drag by his opponent. He would stand before getting another arm drag. Tyson would not immediately stand the third time. He would just remain crouched down, watching his opponent, the fans giving them quite a reception now as the rivalry appears to build.]

JP: Well, both men putting everything into it from the get-go.

[Tyson eventually pulls himself up, but does not rush into another attack. Instead, he'd just eye his opponent, jaw set as he watches his every move closely. He would go around Ken for a moment before finally lunging for him. The two grapple, and this time, it is Tyson that gets the upper hand. He brings Ken to his knees before forcing him back into the turnbuckle. Tyson keeps the hold on him in the turnbuckle, teeth bared as he pushes into him with his hands. The referee eventually breaks it up. Tyson moves his hands away and backs off, letting Ken move away from the turnbuckle.]

JP: Both men looking very feisty and full of useful energy.

Sully: Could you possibly sound any more perverted?

JP: Don't start.

[Ken glares back at Tyson as the two men move towards the middle of the ring again. Eventually, the two would grapple again. Tyson, again, would get the upper hand, getting behind his opponent before shoving him against the ropes. Ken comes off the ropes and Tyson rolls him up for the count. 1Ken Cruise kicks out. The match picks up in speed now as Ken stands up, and is met by a flying fist from Tyson. They both stand and both lunge again, Tyson striking him on the head with another flying fist. Ken hits the canvas hard before standing again. As Tyson stands and readies himself to strike his opponent on the head again, he gestures, but Ken ducks beneath the strike, gets the other side of his opponent before hitting him with a huge neck breaker! This grabs a big pop from the crowd. Tyson is a little bit more sluggish in getting to his feet this time, and Ken is ready for him, grappling with him before hitting him with a heavy vertical suplex. Tyson sits up, clutching to his back as he yells in pain. Ken moves over for the cover quickly. 1Tyson kicks out with time to spare.]

JP: And another close call, Ken really taking it to Tyson now.

Sully: But let's not forget that Tyson is one half of the MWF Tag Team Champions. You can't rule out that.

JP: But that doesn't mean anything in this match. He has no partner to help him out in this match, and at the moment, Ken looks very able to come out the winner.

[Ken kneels up, gripping tightly to the head of his opponent as he stands, licking his lower lip slightly. He would nail him in the midsection before hooking his head. He would hoist him up, hitting him with another huge vertical suplex. He would go for the cover once again. 1He kicks out quicker this time.]

JP: Tyson needs to turn things around now. He is faced with a gruelling uphill task if he isn't about to turn the tide.

Sully: He will. He isn't the tag team champion for no reason.

[Tyson, this time, is able to throw off the hold that Ken gets on him before he turns it into a move, before straightening himself up and hitting him with a huge right hook to the jaw. Looking thoroughly shocked, Cruise would stumble back, the spit flying as he stumbles into the ropes. Tyson would not slow, he would draw a knee right to the gut of his opponent that sends Ken towards the turnbuckle, slumping into it. Tyson would take a few big steps backwards before lunging forwards at him, and just running into him hard. Ken would 'oof!' as he is hit before staggering forwards again, straight into a flying forearm as he comes off the ropes! He is hit hard and lands on the back of shoulders as Tyson rolls him up for the cover. 1en Cruise kicks out. Ken is looking sluggish, but Tyson much more revitalised as he picks himself up and waits for Cruise to stand again before bouncing off the ropes again, and, once again, hitting him with the flying forearm. He would head towards the turnbuckle, hauling himself up onto it as he watches his opponent intently. Ken Cruise does not show any signs of picking himself up, and this is enough to encourage Tyson to try the Corkscrew Moonsault! He gets nothing but canvas, however, as Cruise, at the last second, moves out of the way!]

JP: He was playing possum! Ken Cruise was playing possum and Tyson got nothing but canvas!

Sully: Cheat! He cheated!

JP: He was instinctive! Very intelligent wrestling, and possibly the turning point of the match!

[Ken rolls over for the cover. 1.2…Tyson, once again, manages to get the shoulder up!]

JP: Yet another oh-so close cover attempt.

[Tyson lays on his side, arm outstretched to accentuate the kick out. Ken sits up, shaking his head in disbelief shortly, before pulling himself up again, pounding his palms onto the canvas in frustration. This frustration does not last for long as he grabs onto the head of Tyson and pulls him up. He would drag him up before pulling him for the turnbuckle. He would throw him into it the turnbuckle before pulling him up into a sitting position on top of the turnbuckle. He would stand himself up as he does so before hooking him for the suplex off the top rope. The fans would rise up in support of Ken Cruise as he struggles to nail the move off the top rope. He struggles, continually trying to hit the suplex. He tries to hoist him up. Once. Twice. He is unable to, however, and Tyson, recovering suddenly, would be able to force him off with two well-placed kicks. Ken would tumble off the turnbuckle, landing hard on his back in the middle of the ring.]

JP: What shots!

[Tyson straightens his legs as he pulls himself into a standing position on the top rope, outstretches his arms before finally leaping off, executing a perfect Corckscrew Moonsault! He hits it perfectly and hooks the leg for the cover! 1.3! Tyson wins! ]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Tyson Corvis!
