Killer Instinct versus Cid, Semi-Final Xtreme
Title Tournament
[The Mansfield crowd has been awaiting this match since it was
booked on the card last week. The Xtreme Title Tournament has reached
the semi-final, and the atmosphere in the arena tonight is electric.]
JP: This match is gonna be a hotly contested
match, Sully - the first of our semi-final matches tonight. Cid
versus Killer Instinct. The winner will face Sam King next Sunday at
MWF ComeBack!
Sully: We're gonna be in Cleveland! The new
Xtreme champion will be crowned, JP!
Peter Santos: This match is schduled for one fall and is the
MWF Xtreme Title Tournament Semi-Final, the first competitor,
weighing in at 198 lbs, from Des Moines, Iowa, accompanied by Synn,
Cid!
['Dead In Hollywood' slowly starts to pump out of the sound system
and the crowd give mixed reactions as Cid slowly walks out, with Synn
behind. He walks down the ramp slowly, and enters the ring. Cid has a
few seconds to make himself at home before 'Taste The Fear' hits the
sound system and Killer Instinct slowly walks out.]
Peter Santos: And his opponent, weighing in at 264 lbs., from
Brooklyn, New York, Killer Instinct!
Sully: This guy sends a shiver down my spine
every time he walks out.
JP: Both these guys are pretty neutral when
it comes down to when they stand with the crowd. Neither is getting
booed or cheered so far tonight.
[The Psychotic One in the ring, takes off his long black trench
coat. He puts it on the ring apron, and Synn exits the ring. The
lights go back to normal and the bell rings.]
JP: Here we go!
[Cid is on the offence straightaway, as he tries to take down
Killer with a leg sweep, but fails. Both men lock up, and Killer
Instinct immediately powers down Cid, and Cid goes down to the mat.]
JP: Just look at the difference in height.
Killer Instinct is over 5 inches taller than Cid!
[Cid stares down Killer, then fires at him with a superkick out of
nowhere. Killer stumbles backwards. Cid tries to lift up Killer for
some sort of piledriver but Killer powers out. Cid regroups on the
outside. Cid taunts Killer, forcing the big man to retreat the
outside.]
Sully: There're coming toward us, JP. Let's
hope this doesn't get ugly!
[Cid hits a forearm to the head of Killer, then quickly follows up
with a quick DDT. The crowd is getting behind Cid as he searches
under the ring for a weapon. After a few seconds Cid crawls out with
a steel chair in hand. Before Cid can use it Killer grabs the chair
away from his grasp. Cid, however, ducks Killer's attack and manages
to kick the chair right into Killer Instinct's head!]
Sully: Ouch!
JP: Cid just busted open Killer Instinct
only 5 minutes into the match!
[Cid grabs the chair and jumps onto the ring apron. He taunts the
crowd with the chair in his right hand, before jumping off, landing a
top-rope leg drop on Killer Instinct! The crowd is really behind Cid
as he pulls himself back up.]
JP: Man! That was a move he calls the XTC
Hardcore! And - boy - was that hardcore?!
[Cid picks up Killer and rolls him into the ring. He brings the
battered chair with him into the ring. Cid carefully places the steel
chair onto the abdomen of Killer Instinct. He then carefully sets
himself up, then fires on Killer with a standing moonsault! Cid goes
for a cover: 1… 2… Killer Instinct just kicks out.]
Sully: Close call, JP. Cid is right in
charge of this match!
[Cid pulls up Instinct by the hair and whips him against the
ropes. Cid stops Killer in his track and goes for a spinning back
suplex, only to have it reversed by Killer into a spinning
back-breaker! Killer slowly goes for a cover, regaining his
confidence. 1… 2… CID JUST KICKS OUT.]
JP: Killer Instinct has turned it around,
and got a very close fall!
Sully: Can he keep it up, though? Cid is
sneaky!
[Killer grabs Cid off the ropes and hits a standing suplex on the
luchadore. Instead of going for the cover, Killer Instinct whips Cid
into the ropes. He runs at Cid, but, with one big push, Cid jumps
over Killer, and rolls him up with a sunset flip! 1… 2…… KILLER JUST
KICKS OUT!]
Sully: MAN!
JP: Cid sneakily sunset flipped Killer
Instinct, and got a very near 2-count!
[Cid thumps the canvas, before retreating to the outside again.
Killer has a breather in the ring as Cid goes underneath the ring
again.]
JP: Where's Cid going now?
[After thirty seconds or more under the ring, Cid comes out
dragging something behind him… A LADDER!]
Sully: Cid has a ladder, by god!
[Synn on the outside claps her hand with pleasure; she likes the
way Cid thinks. Cid slides the ladder into the ring and slowly slides
in. But Killer Instinct is ready for Cid! With the steel ladder on
the floor, Killer Instinct lifts up Cid just over the ladder, and set
him up for the Flame of Death!]
Sully: Uh oh! Watch out Cid!
[Somehow Cid digs deep, and manages to reverse the move, he puts
all the strength left in his body to lift up the 264-pounder over his
head, and - using the aid of the middle rope - he drills Killer
Instinct's head into the steel ladder below, completing the 'Head
Trauma'.]
JP: HEAD TRAUMA!
Sully: … Onto the ladder!
[A bewildered referee watches as Cid yanks Killer's limp body off
the ladder and hook his leg. 1… 2… 3! Cid won the match, and is
through the final!]
JP: Cid has done it!
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, and through to
the final of the Xtreme Title Tournament, Cid!
[The referee holds up Cid's arm in the victory and he smiles to
the crowd. Synn let's herself into the ring and holds up her man's
arm in victory. Cid's theme music hits the sound system again, as he
slowly climbs out of the ring with the safe knowledge that he's
claimed his spot at ComeBack for the Xtreme title.]
Sully: Cid's going to ComeBack, to face Sam
King! What a fast-paced match that was, JP.
[Cid disappears backstage with Synn by his side, as MWF Dynamite
takes a break.]
JP: Welcome Back! We are almost ready for
your highly anticipated main event. I'ts going to be experience
teaming up with youth in both corners of this tag team match that
could quite possibly go either way.We have Ross Allen with Joe Foale
going up against the new found friendship of The Grudge and Jae Dee
Ar. It's going to be great
Sully: Quite a bit of talent in that match
JP, but not quite the main event we witnessed last week. None the
less, we should still be in for one hell of a ride!
JP: Before we get into this highly
anticipated match up, I have just been informed that we jave a camera
man standing by backstage with a very interesting development.
Sully: What kind of interesting
development?
JP: I have no idea, we'll just have to wait
and see. Here we go.
[We cut from JP and Sully at ring side to the backstage area. The
camera is in an area that is somewhere in the storage area of the
MWF. Although nothing can be seen, heavy steady breathing can be
faintly in the background. The camera begins to pan around and
suddenly something comes into the shot. We see two of the large
rectangular steel grids used by the MWF to make the ramp down to the
ring. Just as soon as the come into view, the disappear downward out
of the shot. Just as quickly the steel grids come back up into the
shot, and a loud release of breathe is heard. This motion of the grid
going up and down continues for a little while until the camera
finally zooms out a little, and we see two hands holding the grid up,
and bringing it down. The hands have black tape on them that go down
to past persons wrists. Once again the camera zooms out, and we now
see the persons arms. Two massive limbs compossed entirely of muscle,
we now see that the up and down of the grids is due to the fact that
they are being pressed! One last time the camera zooms out and we now
see that the man showcasing the brute stength is none other then
Anarkist. Anarkist continues to press the large grids seemingly with
ease for a little while before he places them onto the concret floor,
and stands up straight. Anarkist places his hand on his ribs and
squeezes them, with no reaction. Anarkist then nods and a sadistic
smirk appears on his face. He then stretches his neck from side to
side, and walks forward past the camera and disappears behind it.]
Sully: He's here! I knew he wouldn't not
show up!
JP: You're right Sully he is here, but why?
He doesn't have a match, he was given the night off to nurse his
ribs.
Sully: Well it seems like his ribs are just
fine now! You seen him squeeze his ribs. The man has got a grip like
a grizzly, and he didn't even flintch. I would say that he's back at
100%!
JP: Back to full health or not Sully, fact
is Anarkist has got no reason to come out here! He better not ruin
another perfectly good match like he has a tendency of doing!
Sully: Sure he's got a reason to come out
here tonight. Need I remind you of last week? Anarkist warned
everyone that there are dire consiquences for crossing him!
