"Troy Boy" Troy Knight w/Bobby Knight

versus

Jonny Fairplay

Singles Match

Referee: Chad Pattison

Writer: Dom Stoate

[One of the newest additions to the Temp' roster of the MWF, Jonny Fairplay, waits in the corner of the ring, leaning against the turnbuckle, arms outstretched, hands holding onto the ropes as he glares in the direction of Troy Knight menacingly. Troy Knight climbs beneath the top rope, eyes never leaving Fairplay as he makes his way stepping onto the canvas.]

JP: And you can feel the hatred and contempt for Troy oozing from that young man.

Sully: I feel his pain, JP. I've never liked that fag Troy Knight, either!

JP: And don't we know it.

[Troy tosses the sweat-towel that he hung around the back of his neck to the outside where several squealing audience members clutch and grab for it excitedly. Troy offers a little smile in their direction as well as a slight wink as he turns back to face Jonny Fairplay. As he turns, he is leapt upon by Fairplay who thumps him across the back of the neck harshly. Troy stumbles backwards towards the turnbuckle and Jonny is quick to follow up with a punch to the side of his skull that sends Troy into the ropes. Troy raises his head and is thumped hard in the stomach. This doubles him up, and he staggers forwards, straight into a drop kick.]

JP: Troy Knight getting a real wake-up call! Jonny Fairplay isn't pulling any punches!

Sully: I knew this would happen! These two have been insulting each other and having battles with words all week, and it was always going to get them pumped! But it seems that Jonny Fairplay is getting the upper hand in this match!

[Jonny grabs onto Troy's shoulder and elbow in an attempt to lock him up for the collar-elbow tie-up but Troy manages to get out of it, raising a knee to bring towards the rib cage of Fairplay, who releases Troy immediately. Troy pulls his own body back to put all of his weight into a huge chop across his opponent's chest, who staggers backwards against a nearby turnbuckle. Troy bounds after him, still full of spunk and tenacity it seems, despite the early pummelling.]

JP: The fans really getting behind Troy Boy as he works his way back into this match!

[Troy hops onto the second turnbuckle, trapping Fairplay in against the turnbuckle. Troy thumps his fists against his head once, twice before thrusting his crotch provocatively towards Fairplay's face before landing a third hard punch to the skull of Fairplay who writhes with every blow. Troy would hop back down onto the canvas again, allowing Jonny Fairplay to stumble forwards again. Jonny stumbles straight into a side walk slam that is followed by a quick pinning attempt.1…He kicks out quickly. Jonny is on his feet and knocked down by a swift elbow from Knight. Knight straightens up and raises his arms in celebration as Jonny Fairplay struggles into a standing position. He staggers forwards and Troy doesn't expect the eye-rake that comes from Fairplay. Troy cries out and raises his hands to his face defensively and Fairplay takes advantage, darting forwards and landing a huge clothesline that sends Troy back onto his shoulders.]

JP: How can this man be called 'Fairplay'? That is the biggest load of crap ever!

Sully: What? What are you talking about, JP?

JP: You saw it! He raked his hand right across the eyes of Troy Knight!

[Jonny Fairplay raises his arm, Troy bent over. Jonny would reach down, hooking Troy's head and hauling him up in the position for a super fall away slam. Instead, he just drives Troy into his outstretched leg, hitting him against his knee sickeningly. Jonny stands up, raising his arms proudly, beaming towards the audience with a smug look on his face. He'd bellow out: "Yeaaahhh! Fairplay, baby!"]

JP: The fans don't like this guy one bit!

[Fairplay turns back towards Troy and grabs him by the hair. He'd lean him against the ropes before bringing a hand thundering down towards Troy's chest. Troy cries out and recoils in pain. A second chop against his chest and Knight flails about in pain before being pushed back into the ropes by Fairplay and whipped forwards against the opposite ropes. Troy comes back and Jonny is ducked down, planning to flip the man over his head. However, Troy stops before lashing out with a kick to the shoulder of Fairplay, who cries out audibly and staggers backwards, arms swinging madly. Troy takes a slight step back before lunging forwards again and hitting a huge clothesline! The fans begin to roar his name.]

JP: He has it! Does he have it won already? He is going up top!

[And that he is. He turns to the side and begins to make his way up the turnbuckle. It was poorly timed however, by Troy as Fairplay manages to make it up to his feet just as Knight gets up onto the buckle. Fairplay grabs Troy and hauls him onto his back from the turnbuckle Troy Boy lands hard and grabs at the small of his back desperately, wheezing furiously.]

Sully: Yes! I knew it wasn't over this early!

[Fairplay would be quick to stoop down onto his knees, grabbing Troy's head and locking him in for a submission move, holding tightly onto Knight's head and pulling furiously. Knight would sit there, unable to do anything else other than scream out in agony. The referee would step into the scene, kneeling by Troy's head, asking him if he submits. Troy screams out in the negative and Fairplay cries out in a deep voice, as if the act of yelling added extra pressure to the hold. He tightens the hold and Troy screams again, spittle flying from his mouth as Jonny keeps the lock in. The fans start to get behind Troy, calling out his name in a rhythmical and steady beat. Troy begins to pull himself up into a kneeling position. The hold on his head is weakened and Troy manages to lean into a few strikes to the gut area of Fairplay who is forced to break the hold. Troy leans back against the ropes and moves forwards for a clothesline, but Jonny ducks beneath the clothesline and takes advantage of the head-injury that Troy was suffering from and lands a huge neckbreaker!]

JP: Oh, a great neckbreaker from Fairplay! I think the ring shook!

[Fairplay scoots over to Troy on his knees and goes for the cover, but Troy somehow manages to kick out after the two count. Jonny Fairplay sits up and wipes a hand down his face, then stands. He beckons for Troy to get up, looking a bit impatient as Troy takes his sweet time. He looks like he is setting Troy up for the Paycheck, and as he jumps above the crouching Knight, the latter moves, and at the same time spins, landing the Heaven Sent on Jonny Fairplay!

JP: Heaven Sent! Heaven Sent, oh, it could be over!

Sully: Come on, Jonny!

[Troy goes for the cover…1...2…The crowd boo as Jonny Fairplay manages to grab the bottom rope; the ref sees this and stops counting. Troy does not look happy, but he does look like he knows what he is doing. He drags Fairplay into the centre of the ring, and points to the sky. The fans go wild as Troy Knight makes for the turnbuckle, climbing it and standing tall, before leaping with the Rump Thump! At the last possible second, however, Jonny Fairplay rolls out of the way, causing Knight to fall on his posterior and roll to the side, holding his rump. As both stand, Fairplay grabs Troy from behind in a German Suplex position, but Troy reverses, getting behind Jonny. Fairplay pulls the ref over to his front while, discreetly as you like, kicking back and low blowing Knight, who stumbles backwards. He is holding his crotch, and as he turns, is met by Jonny Fairplay with the Paycheck! Jonny pins, too exhausted to hook the leg. 1…2…Kick out! Troy Knight kicks out! Fairplay rolls onto his back in disbelief, and wearily stands up, waiting for Troy to do the same. He looks like he is going for the Paycheck once again, but suddenly his attention is drawn by something on the ramp. He looks, only to see the Hobo standing there, watching him.]

JP: What the hell's he doing here?

Sully: Hey, JP, don't sound so suspicious! Maybe he just wanted to watch the match!

JP: Well, the only thing I can think of that these three have in common is the fact that both The Hobo and Troy Knight have been plagued by D.E.C.E.N.T, with whom Jonny Fairplay is associated, Troy constantly being harassed and The Hobo actually getting fired, only to be reinstated by Dom Stoate, General Manager.

[Fairplay looks confused, and he shouts at Hobo to go away, before turning around. As he does so, he is met by the Heaven Sent! Except the reactions if Jonny Fairplay seem to have been sharpened to 'matrix' like proportions, he ducks the move and the crowd explode in anger as he hits a huge low blow on the former MWF Television Champion!]

JP: Ouch! Troy Knight really doesn't like being hit there...

Sully: Jonny Fairplay's making this match decent, he knows that he's out there for a reason.

[Fairplay grabs Troy Knight, who is huddled over and the crowd jeer loudly as he executes a the Paycheck, it slams Troy Knight's pretty face into the canvas and Fairplay follows up and hooks the leg. Chad Pattison scrambles to count....1.....2.....3!]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Jonny Fairplay!

['Larger Than Life' by the Backstreet Boys plays over the PA, and Troy lies on his back, breathing heavily. The Hobo, the reasons for whose attendance tonight nobody knows, climbs into the ring and picks up Troy Knight. He sets him on his feet, eyes him for a second or two, then leaves the ring again, walking up the ramp to Troy's music. Troy looks puzzled, watching the dirty little man go, as the MWF goes to a commercial break with Jonny Fairplay staggering up the entrance ramp, attempting to put his tie back around his neck.]
